    摘要: An electrical terminal (30) includes first (32) and second (34) contact members having outer pressure contacting end portions (32a, 34a) for pressure engaging a pair of electrical devices and enlarged inner end portions (32b, 34b). A sleeve (36) includes a through hole (44) for slidably receiving the inner end portions of the contact members. The through hole has opposite open ends (46, 48) through which the pressure contacting end portions of the contact members project for engaging the spaced electrical devices. A biasing member (38) is disposed in the through hole to resiliently bias the contact members in opposite directions. The biasing member is in a relaxed condition when the pressure contacting end portions of the contact members are out of pressure engagement with the electrical devices. Thereby, one of the contact members can be retracted substantially into the through hole to thereby reduce the distance between distal ends of the pressure contacting end portions of the contact members.

    摘要: An electrical terminal (30) includes a first contact member (32) having an outer pressure contacting end portion (32a) of a given diameter for pressure engaging a first electrical device. The first contact member has an inner end portion (32b) of a diameter at least slightly larger than the given diameter of the outer end portion. A second contact member (34) has a front pressure contacting end (34a) for pressure engaging a second electrical device. The second contact member has a rear end (34b) with a hole (38) for reciprocally receiving the inner end portion (32b) of the first contact member (32). A restricted stop is formed at the rear (34b) end of the hole (38) for abutting the inner end portion of the first contact member to define an outer limit position of the first contact member. A biasing member (36) is disposed in the hole in the second contact member and is engageable with the inner end portion of the first contact member. The biasing member resiliently biases the first and second contact members in opposite directions.

Preferences of all of the users are considered in the search even while those preferences can be kept private. In some embodiments of the present invention, at least two users each submit a search query. The multiple search queries are logically combined to produce one set of search results. The results can be reviewed by the users and refined if necessary. In some embodiments, a search query can be specified by a single user, but the search engine takes into consideration the stored preferences of multiple users (in addition to the search query itself, of course).

    摘要: A method for establishing a circuit switched call at an access terminal that is processing an established packet switched call, enables a user to be informed that a voice call has been requested. The method comprises transmitting, from a visited network to the access terminal, a packet switched message indicating that the voice call has been requested (step 805). A message from the access terminal, indicating that the voice call is being processed, is then processed in the visited network (step 810). A message from the access terminal requesting a circuit switched call origination is then processed at a mobile switching center in the visited network (step 820). A message indicating that the circuit switched call should be established is then transmitted from the visited network to a voice call continuity application server in a home network, in response to the circuit switched call origination message (step 830). The circuit switched call is then connected (step 835).

The method includes establishing a PoC call session between a first communication device and a second communication device using a PoC server (step 705). Transcoded media data are then generated by transcoding and buffering media data received at the first communication device from the third communication device (step 715).
