Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method and a device for detecting abnormality of a lithium battery, a battery management system, and a battery system. The method includes: obtaining a SOC value of the lithium battery in a charge process, where the SOC value is a ratio of a remaining capacity of the battery to a nominal capacity of the battery; changing a value of a charge current at a time point corresponding to an arbitrary SOC value, and obtaining a response signal within a time period of maintaining the changed charge current; and determining, based on response signals at time points corresponding to a plurality of SOC values, whether the lithium battery is abnormal. The method can implement non-destructive detection of abnormality of a lithium-ion battery, simplify operation, and achieve relatively high accuracy.

Abstract: The application provides a battery module, which includes a plurality of batteries, an upper cover, and a pressing strip. The pressing strip covers an explosion-proof valve of a battery, and includes a main body portion and a bottom plate portion. The bottom plate portion is connected to the main body portion and forms an accommodating cavity together with the main body portion. A fire extinguishing agent is sealed in the accommodating cavity. The bottom plate portion of the pressing strip is configured to be melted. The fire extinguishing agent is constantly stored in the accommodating cavity of the pressing strip, so as to avoid wasteful use of the fire extinguishing agent caused by the same flowing in all directions, so that the amount of the fire extinguishing agent can be maintained at a constant level at all times.

Being distinguished from the existing technology, the maximum swelling force of the battery module may be reduced, thus end plates with smaller volumes may be selected to improve energy density of the battery module.
