    Abstract: An end cover assembly may include: a cover plate provided with an electrode lead-out hole; an electrode terminal located on one side of the cover plate in a thickness direction and covering the electrode lead-out hole; and a sealing element disposed between the electrode terminal and the cover plate so as to seal the electrode lead-out hole along a circumference of the electrode lead-out hole. The sealing element may include a body and a first insulating element. The first insulating element may be connected to the body and have a higher melting point than the body. The first insulating element may be configured to insulate the electrode terminal from the cover plate after the body is melted, so as to keep electrode terminals of two polarities insulated from each other at thermal runaway of a battery cell.

    Abstract: The present application discloses a battery including a battery cell, a thermal management component, an avoidance chamber and a collection chamber. The battery cell includes a pressure relief mechanism; the thermal management component is configured to adjust a temperature of the battery cell; the avoidance chamber is configured to provide a space allowing the pressure relief mechanism to be actuated; and the collection chamber is configured to collect emissions from the battery cell when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated. The thermal management component is configured such that emissions are capable of passing through the thermal management component when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, and then entering the collection chamber through the avoidance chamber. Therefore, the pressure relief mechanism may not need to be provided on a side of an electrode terminal of the battery cell and emissions relieved by the pressure relief mechanism may be collected.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a battery module, including a first battery cell arrangement structure, a second battery cell arrangement structure and a bus bar array. With battery cells stacked in a horizontal direction, a first battery cell arrangement structure and a second battery cell arrangement structure are stacked in a vertical direction, and a first bus bar of a bus bar array is used to sequentially connect the battery cells of the first battery cell arrangement structure and the second battery cell arrangement structure. As a result, a total positive electrode and a total negative electrode of a battery module are located at two ends of the battery module, which greatly reduces the possibility of a short circuit of the battery module and improves the safety of the battery module.

The battery includes: a battery cell comprising a pressure relief mechanism, at least a portion of the pressure relief mechanism protruding outward from a first wall of the battery cell, and the pressure relief mechanism being configured, when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, to be actuated to release the internal pressure; a thermal management component for containing a fluid to adjust a temperature of the battery cell; wherein a first surface of thermal management component is attached to the first wall of the battery cell, the first surface of thermal management component is provided with an avoidance chamber, and the avoidance chamber is configured to accommodate the at least portion of the pressure relief mechanism.     Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a battery module and a battery pack. A battery module includes: a cooling component; and a battery group, comprising secondary batteries disposed side by side in a first direction and each including a case having an accommodating hole, an electrode assembly disposed in the accommodating hole, and a cap assembly, the electrode assembly including two end faces disposed opposite to each other in a second direction intersecting the first direction and an electrode tab extending from each end face. The secondary batteries each includes two sides opposite to each other in the second direction, the cooling component is disposed on at least one of the two sides, the cooling component and the end face are respectively disposed on two sides of the case in the second direction, and the cooling component is connected and fixed to each of the secondary batteries.
