    Abstract: Controlling the power state of an internet protocol (IP) network display device using the cumulative connection status of one or more client devices to presentation a gateway. The first client device to connect to the presentation gateway causes it to transmit an instruction over the IP Network to the display device to turn-on. When the last of the client connections to the presentation gateway has terminated, the presentation gateway transmits either a sleep or power-down instruction over the IP network to the display device, optionally, after a countdown timer expires.

    Abstract: A switcher device comprises a multiplexer coupled in-between at least one input and output cards. The multiplexer detects the presence of an event signal from an activated sink. In response to the detection of the event signal, the switch dynamically switches to a closed position in order to enable the at least one source to authenticate with the input card and the output card to authenticate with the at least one sink for security protocol encryption. In response to the non-detection of the event signal, the switch switches dynamically to an open position in order to disable the at least one source from authenticating with the input card, therefore the output card also does not attempt to authenticate with the at least one sink for security protocol encryption.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and modes are disclosed for sharing presentation content displayed on a meeting room display during a meeting. The system comprises one or more presentation gateways each associated with a network address and configured for receiving and transmitting presentation content to a meeting room display during a meeting. The system further comprises one or more RF beacons each associated with a presentation gateway and configured for broadcasting information. The system also comprises a portable electronic device that pairs with the presentation gateway to share presentation content by: receiving from at least one of the one or more RF beacons the broadcasted information, estimating a distance to the at least one of the one or more RF beacons according to a detected signal strength of the RF beacon broadcast, determining a location of the portable electronic device based on the distance to the at least one of the one or more RF beacons, identifying a presentation gateway network address based on the determined location, and pairing with a presentation gateway using the identified presentation gateway network address.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and modes are disclosed for live presentation sharing between meeting presenter's and meeting attendees' portable electronic devices during a meeting, and more specifically for viewing presentation content on a portable electronic device displayed on a meeting room display during a meeting. The system comprises a presentation gateway configured for receiving and transmitting presentation content to a meeting room display during a meeting. The system further comprises a portable electronic device that pairs with the presentation gateway.
