Abstract:
The present invention provides for sharing information among a plurality of dashboards. Employment of at least one metric of a first dashboard is monitored. An indicia of the monitored metric is transmitted. The indicia of the monitored metric is received. An indicia associated with the monitored metric is displayed on a second dashboard, thereby enabling a user of the second dashboard to know what metrics a user of the first dashboard are employing.
Abstract:
Marble Tag is a lively and highly interactive game played in, on, and above a board or maze with marbles guided by sticks. The game may be played either indoors or outdoors. Players of all ages from four years old to more than eighty-four are attracted to participate. Much of the excitement and exercise common to the age-old game of tag are included in the game, however the game requires both less vigor and less space than tag. A certain dexterity to manipulate the sticks and marbles is advantageous, but not necessary. The existence of various strategies of play gives multiple levels of interest to the game. Three qualitatively different ways to play Marble Tag are: as individuals, as partnerships, and with handicaps. Furthermore, other games can be played with the same Marble Tag apparatus or on mazes with minor modifications.
Abstract:
A lead fixation device for securing a medical lead in a human patient includes: a single-piece structure comprising: a top surface; a bottom surface; an outer perimeter; and an inner perimeter, the inner perimeter comprising: a diameter approximately equal to or smaller than a diameter of a burr hole into which the lead fixation device is designed to be deployed; a central bore extending longitudinally from the top surface through to the bottom surface, a portion of the central bore being located in approximately a center of the lead fixation device and comprising a central bore diameter; and at least one retention tract formed in the top surface of a cap of the lead fixation device, the retention tract configured for retaining, with an interference fit, a portion of a body of the medical lead in the lead fixation device.
Abstract:
An implantable seizure monitor can include at least one sensing electrode and an electronics module configured to detect, record and/or log neurological events. For example, the electronics module can be configured to detect brainwaves indicative of seizures, such as, for example, epileptic seizures, and to create a log indicating when such seizures occur. The implantable seizure monitor can include a cushioning member made of a soft material and configured to be implantable between the epidermis and cranium of a patient.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, the online trading system having a real-time account opening process comprises one or more computers coupled to a network. The computers maintain a brokerage account database, and service web page requests received over the network. The web pages are preferably configured to implement a real-time account opening (RTAO) process that establishes new brokerage accounts in the account database. The RTAO process may include (a) obtaining contact information; (b) creating a new record in the brokerage account database for the contact information; (c) obtaining brokerage account application information; (d) updating the new record with the application information; (e) displaying a brokerage account contract; and (f) securing online agreement to said brokerage account contract. The process preferably also includes obtaining funding information to automatically initiate a transfer of funds to the brokerage account.
Abstract:
Systems, methods and media for transitioning detecting content change in a streaming image system are disclosed. One embodiment provides a method for detecting a content change between image frames in a streaming image system. Embodiments may include selecting a change detection algorithm from a plurality of change detection algorithms and comparing a first image frame of an image stream with a second image frame of the image stream using the selected change detection algorithm. Embodiments may also include, in the event of detecting a content change between the first image frame and the second image frame, generating an indication of the content change. Further embodiments may include selecting the change detection algorithm based on a user's selection or system capabilities. Other further embodiments may include transmitting the indication of the content change.

Abstract:
A method for discovering relationships among elements of a transactional conversation includes tagging a transcribed representation of the conversation to identify elements of the conversation and structuring the tagged conversation according to a specified format to produce a structured, tagged representation of the conversation. A set of structured, tagged conversation representations is then analyzed to discover a relationship between a first conversation element and a second conversation element. Tagging the conversation may include evaluating a portion of the conversation, assigning the portion a message type, and assigning a data value to an attribute defined by the message type. The message type may be defined by a conversation policy, wherein the conversation policy identifies conversation elements including conversation states and message types that transition the conversation among the conversation states. The conversation states include an offer pending state, an offer accept state, and an offer declined state.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for creating new representations of a conversational policy or conversation are shown. The conversational policy or a specific conversation can be displayed in a tabular form, which emphasizes order and timing. Representing the policy as a ‘filmstrip’ or series of interactions can make writing the conversational policy more understandable.
