    Abstract: A mobile object including a first sensor configured to detect a target object in surroundings, recognizes and sets a user; acquires a predicted path indicating a future path of the user that has been set, based on a movement of the user and an output from the first sensor, and generates a path of the mobile object to lead the user on a forward side of the user, based on the predicted path; and causes the mobile object to travel in accordance with the path that has been generated, and upon detection of a change in a moving direction of the user, based on the output from the first sensor, modifies the generated path to cause the mobile object to move to the forward side of the user in accordance with the moving direction that has been changed.

    Abstract: An exhaust purification system is provided that can decrease the load acting on a device treating PM, even when switched to stoich operation. The exhaust purification system includes: a PM treatment device, a three-way purification catalyst, an LAF sensor, and an ECU (3) that performs feedback control so that an LAF sensor output (Vex) becomes a target value (Vop) determined so that the three-way purification reaction is optimized during stoich operation. The ECU (3) includes a fuel controller (32) that determines a fuel injection amount (Gfuel) so that a state in which an air/fuel ratio of the air/fuel mixture is leaner than stoich and a state richer than stoich are alternately realized by modulating a fuel correction amount (dGfuel) determined so as to cause the LAF sensor output (Vex) to converge to the target value (Vop) by employing a predetermined modulation algorithm.

    Abstract: An exhaust purification system is provided that can appropriately grasp the NOx concentration or NH3 concentration on a downstream side of a selective reduction catalyst. A separation filter of the system models a downstream NOx estimated value (NOx_DW_hat) of the catalyst with a value obtained by multiplying a coefficient (Kscr) by an output (NOx_UP) of an upstream-side NOx sensor. The separation filter includes transient extraction filters that block a stationary component and allow a frequency band corresponding to an increase-decrease request of drive power from the driver to pass from the downstream NOx sensor output (Ynox) and upstream NOx sensor output (NOx_UP), and calculate filter values (Ynox_f, NOx_UP_f) of each; and an identifier that identifies the coefficient (Kscr) so that error (eid) between the filter value (Ynox_f) and a value (NOx_DW_hat_f) obtained by multiplying the purification coefficient (Kscr) by the filter value (NOx_UP_f) becomes a minimum.
