A moving object control apparatus in the present disclosure that adjusts a stop position of a moving object based on an instruction of a user, acquires instruction information of the user and acquires a captured image captured in a moving object. The apparatus determines a stop position of the moving object and controls traveling of the moving object to cause the moving object to travel toward the determined stop position. The apparatus (i) determines a first stop position using position information of a communication device used by the user or position information corresponding to a destination included in first instruction information of the user, and (ii) determines a second stop position based on second instruction information of the user and a region of a predetermined target identified in the captured image.

According to one aspect, causal graph chain reasoning predictions may be implemented by generating a causal graph of one or more participants within an operating environment including an ego-vehicle, one or more agents, and one or more potential obstacles, generating a prediction for each participant within the operating environment based on the causal graph, and generating an action for the ego-vehicle based on the prediction for each participant within the operating environment. Nodes of the causal graph may represent the ego-vehicle or one or more of the agents. Edges of the causal graph may represent a causal relationship between two nodes of the causal graph. The causal relationship may be a leader-follower relationship, a trajectory-dependency relationship, or a collision relationship.

A lane outward deviation avoidance assist apparatus includes: a recognition device configured to recognize a travel lane of a vehicle; a deviation recognition part configured to recognize a deviation from the travel lane recognized by the recognition device or a deviation prediction from the travel lane; a control part configured to perform a deviation avoidance control for avoiding the deviation from the travel lane at least by a steering; and a deviation number count part configured to count the number of deviations from the travel lane recognized by the deviation recognition part within a predetermined duration or the number of deviation predictions from the travel lane, wherein the control part performs at least any one of the deviation avoidance control and an alarm output control when the number counted by the deviation number count part reaches n, n being a natural number more than 1.

A control system comprises a travel control unit configured to cause a moving body to travel to a designated place designated by a dispatch request, in response to the dispatch request from a user. Interactive communication is performed between the user and the moving body via a mobile terminal held by the user, before the moving body reaches the designated place. Image data in which surroundings of the designated place are captured by an imaging unit is acquired, after the moving body has reached the designated place as a result of the interactive communication. Information that has been transmitted from the user in the interactive communication is evaluated, based on the image data that has been acquired.

An information processing apparatus that estimates an instruction position for a moving body used by a user acquires utterance information regarding the instruction position including a visual mark from a communication device used by the user. The information processing apparatus acquires a captured image captured by the moving body and determines an object region in the captured image corresponding to the visual mark included in the utterance information. The information apparatus estimates the instruction position based on the object region.

A lane mark recognition device detects an edge located in a proximal area in front of the vehicle, and determines a lane mark candidate on the basis of the detected edge and an edge that is located in a distal area farther than the proximal area in front of the vehicle and that is continuous with the edge. Therefore, an edge of another vehicle (leading vehicle) or the like located in the distal area in a captured image is not detected as a lane mark candidate (is excluded as a non lane mark candidate).
