    摘要: A highly effective surfactant mixture which is liquid at room temperature comprising:(1) from 50 to 84.degree. C. by weight ether alcohol corresponding to the general formulaR.sub.1 --O--[PO].sub.0-3 [EO].sub.6-8 H,(2) from 10 to 40% by weight ether alcohol corresponding to the formulaR.sub.2 --O--[PO].sub.0-3 [EO].sub.3-6 H,(3) from 0 to 10% by weight ethoxylation products of polyols which may be obtained by reaction of C.sub.12 -C.sub.18 1,2-epoxides with ethylene glycol, glycerol, trimethylol propane or neopentyl glycol,(4) from 0.1 to 10% by weith of an amino alcohol selected from(A)R.sub.3 --[EO].sub.0-4 N(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 OH).sub.2,orR.sub.3 --[EO].sub.0-4 NH--CH.sub.2 CHOH(B) the reaction product of C.sub.12 -C.sub.18 1,2-epoxide with mono- or diethanolamine,(C) reaction product of epoxidized oleyl or linoleyl alcohol with mono- or diethanolamine or(D) reaction product of compound (A), (B) or (C) with from 2 to 12 times the molar quantity of ethylene oxide, and(5) lower carboxylic acids in the quantity required to adjust a 1% aqueous solution to a neutral pH-value; wherein R.sub.1 is a C.sub.9 -C.sub.11 alkyl group, R.sub.2 is a C.sub.12 -C.sub.15 alkyl group, R.sub.3 is a C.sub.12 -C.sub.18 alkyl or alkenyl group, (EO) are ring-opened ethylene oxide residues and (PO) are ring-opened propylene oxide residues.

    摘要: New oil components for cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications consist of reaction products of epoxidized triglyceride oils with monohydric alcohols containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms. The oil components are produced by reacting an epoxidized triglyceride oil containing from about 4 to about 8% by weight of epoxide oxygen, preferably an epoxidized soya bean oil containing from about 6 to about 7% by weight of epoxide oxygen, in the presence of an acidic catalyst with a monohydric C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alcohol, preferably methanol, in excess at the boiling temperature of the alcohol until the oxirane rings have been completely opened, followed by neutralizing the catalyst and distilling off the excess alcohol. The new oil components are eminently suitable, inter alia, for the production of cosmetic stick preparations.

    摘要: A process for the production of alkyl polyoxyethylenes showing improved low-temperature behavior, by reaction of alcohols with ethylene oxide at elevated temperature in the presence of basic alkali metal compounds as catalysts and subsequent neutralization of the alkaline catalyst with acids, which under prior art practice was impractical because of clogging of reaction vessels and equipment associated with precipitation of salts during neutralization, is made practical by adding a finely divided solid to serve as a precipitation control agent during neutralization. The finely divided solids used are, in particular, organic and/or inorganic materials known in the prior art as filter aids, such as kieselguhr and sawdust or other finely divided cellulose.

    摘要: The invention relates to a process for preparing tertiary ether amines corresponding to the following general formula: ##STR1## by reacting in the presence of a strong base a tertiary amine corresponding to the following formula: ##STR2## with a sulfuric acid semi-ester salt corresponding to the following formula:R.sup.1 --(OC.sub.n H.sub.2n).sub.x --OSO.sub.3 M. (III)Preferably, each mole of the tertiary amine corresponding to formula (II) is reacted under substantially anhydrous conditions at a temperature of 140.degree. to 230.degree.
