摘要: A rotating electric machine whose output characteristics can be easily and freely adjusted and varied even in operation. The rotating electric machine is received in a housing of an electrically driven two-wheeled vehicle. A rotating shaft is connected to a rotor so as to form an axle. A stator is positioned opposite a rotor. A movable member is connected to a rotating member rotated about the rotating shaft by a regulating motor. The movable member is moved in the axial direction of the rotating shaft by the rotation of the rotating member. This movement causes the rotor to be rotatingly moved in the axial direction of the rotating shaft, changing relative position of the rotor and the stator.

摘要: A light source device for pumping a solid-state laser medium of a laser generator, which is compact and capable of economically using LD bars constituting the LD stack with easy maintenance. The light source device is constituted by a plurality of LD modules. Each LD module comprises a plurality of cooling devices on which LD bars are respectively mounted and connection plates on both sides thereof. The LD bars are stacked such that longitudinal directions thereof extend perpendicular to a stacking direction thereof. A desired number of LD modules are mechanically connected with each other using the connection plates to form the LD stack. A sealing member is intervened between confronting connection plates of adjacent LD modules, so that flow passages of coolant formed in the respective LD modules are continuously connected. The connection plates have functions of fixedly supporting the cooling devices of each LD module and electrically connecting the adjacent LD modules.

摘要: A system and method are used to assemble and fill an embedded magnet type rotor. The system and method prevent rotation of the rotor core within a manufacturing device as the rotor core is being filled and the embedded magnets are magnetically orientated. The embedded magnet type rotor is made by a process in which resinous magnet is filled in slits provided in a rotor core. In one embodiment, a recessed portion of the core in a shaft hole is engageable with a projecting portion of a core pin of a metallic mold for use in filling the resinous magnet to prevent rotation of the core. Other positioning devices are also used to prevent rotation.

摘要: To provide a rotor for a motor capable of effecting improved torque variation due to improvement in the induced voltage waveform and of effecting improved magnet torque in a permanent magnet type synchronous motor utilizing reluctance torque. A rotor 11 comprises a core 12 made of a ferromagnetic material, a given member of permanent magnets 14 are mounted in the outer surface of the core 12 circumferentially at equal intervals, and arrangement of the permanent magnets 14 is such that polarities N, S of the permanent magnets on the sides facing a stator are disposed alternately. Also, in the core 12 between the center axis of the core and the permanent magnets 14 are embedded arc-shaped permanent magnets 16 corresponding to the permanent magnets 14, respectively, and arrangement of the permanent magnets 14 is the same as that of the corresponding permanent magnets 16.

摘要: To decrease torque ripples and cogging torque, a rotor for an electrical motor, an electrical generator, or the like, includes lengths of permanent magnets embedded in a plurality of slit sections in respective layers. In an embodiment having three layers, the permanent magnets have lengths L1, L2 and L3 in order as viewed from the outside circumference side of the rotor core and generate respective total magnetic fluxes of &PHgr;1, &PHgr;2, &PHgr;3, respectively, when the rotor is assembled in a rotary electric device. The lengths have a relation L1

摘要: A method for detecting degradation of resin film detects whether a resin coated rope having a circumferential portion coated with resin film has the resin film degraded. The method for detecting degradation of resin film includes: winding a wire on a circumferential portion of the resin coated rope; applying tension to the wire to compress the resin film in a radial direction of the resin coated rope; and comparing a first relationship with a second relationship to determine how the resin film is degraded, the first relationship indicating a relationship between the tension of the wire and how much amount the resin film has compressed, as obtained in the applying, the second relationship indicating a relationship between the tension of the wire and how much amount the resin film has compressed, as predetermined as a reference.
