摘要： A head slider having a thin film magnetic head is mounted on a suspension assembly. The suspension assembly is comprised of a metal plate-like member, and a piezoelectric actuator for displacing the head slider relative to the suspension assembly. The piezoelectric actuator has a piezoelectric film, and a pair of electrode films placed so as to sandwich the piezoelectric film in between. The piezoelectric film and the pair of electrode films are formed in an order of one electrode film, the piezoelectric film, and the other electrode film on the plate-like member.

A navigation server 20 creates data on a guidance path including a guidance point on the guidance path and guidance information on the guidance point according to a sought guidance path and sends the data to a portable terminal 30. The portable terminal 30 has a drive operating mode. When the portable terminal 30 operates in the drive mode, distance calculating means 36 calculates the distance from the current position to the next guidance point from the current position detected by current position detecting means 35 and the guidance path data sent from the navigation server 20, image creating means 37 creates a background image and a guidance image displayed on display means, and creates and displays an image where the display color of the background image varies depending on the distance calculated by the distance calculating means 36.

For example, in a group A in the drawings, a representative frame “KA1” in a shot “A1” is intra-encoded, and then, all of respective representative frames “SA21”, “SA22”, and “SA23” in shots “A21”, “A22”, and “A23” in one lower hierarchy are subjected to prediction encoding using the frame “KA1”. In the same manner, representative frames in the shots are subjected to the prediction encoding using a representative frame in one upper hierarchy in the same group in a daisy-chain manner. Frames other than the representative frames are subjected to the prediction encoding using a representative frame to which the frame belongs.

摘要： A method for printing corrugated cardboard sheets is effected by transferring the corrugated cardboard sheets while jetting ink droplets from ink jet nozzles onto the corrugated cardboard sheets to form dots thereon. Said method comprises the steps of transferring the corrugated cardboard sheets one by one while at the same time sucking one flat surface of each of the corrugated cardboard sheets, and adjusting the relationship among the velocity at which the corrugated cardboard sheets are transferred, the suction force of the corrugated cardboard sheets, and the distance between the ink jet nozzle and the other corrugated surface of each of the corrugated cardboard sheets in accordance with the configuration of the said other corrugated surface and the desired DPI of dots to be formed on the said other corrugated surface. As a result, the ink droplets are jetted toward the said other corrugated surface to be printed thereon.
