摘要: A rail cooling method includes: calculating, based on a relation between temperatures and an amount of warp of the rail cooled to ambient temperature after the forced cooling, the temperatures including a cooling start temperature of the head, a cooling end temperature of the head, a cooling start temperature of the foot and a cooling end temperature of the foot, a target value or a target value range for each of the temperatures so that the amount of warp of the rail at ambient temperature falls within a permissive range; and setting a cooling condition in accordance with the target value or the target value range to perform the forced cooling on the head and the foot.

摘要: N-band image data are output from an N-band image capture device, being capable of N>4 multiband image capturing, to an image data processing device. An image data evaluation information provision unit provides a determination unit with evaluation information on the basis of the input N-band image data. On the basis of the evaluation information, the determination unit determines whether to set the N-band image data or M-band image data having a smaller band number than the N-band image data as image data to be output. On the basis of a determination result of the determination unit, an output image data selection unit selects either the N-band image data or the M-band image data as the image data to be output to an image data recording unit.

摘要: The present invention provides a carrier for electrostatic image development, and a developer, an image formation method and an image formation apparatus using the carrier. The carrier is carrier particles. When the carrier particles each have a coating layer on a magnetic particle, the carrier has a total energy amount of 1500 to 3000 mJ. When the carrier particles each have a coating layer on a magnetic powder-dispersed particle, the carrier has a total energy amount of 1000 to 1500 mJ. The total energy amount is measured with a powder rheometer at a tip end speed of a rotor of 100 mm/s and a helix angle of the rotor of −5°. The total energy amount is a value of a portion of the carrier in a measurement container which portion is contained in the region between the packed surface of the carrier and a surface disposed under the packed surface by 70 mm.

摘要: A fluid control valve, which can control a fluid having a pressure in the order of 10 kg/cm2, has a response time in the order of several milliseconds can be made small in size, and a fluid supply/exhaust system that provides less gas counter flow in the event of a plurality of valves being used. A fluid control valve of the invention controls a fluid moving in a valve body by closing and opening a portion between a valve seat and a valve holder by use of a drive unit. The drive unit has a rod-shaped shaft for application of pressure through the valve seat and the valve holder, and a member “a” fixed around the rod-shaped shaft. The member “a” is made from a magnetic material, and has a space between it and the shaft. A coil provided in parallel to the shaft, moves the shaft via the member “a” up and down by electromagnetic induction, and makes use of a spring force to close and open a portion between the valve seat and the valve holder.
