    Abstract: A registration method, a session establishment method, a terminal, and an access and mobility management function (AMF) entity, where the method includes sending, by a terminal, a first message to the AMF entity, where the first message includes first information, first network slice selection information, and second network slice selection information, the first information includes information for requesting to establish a protocol data unit (PDU) session, the first network slice selection information is used by the AMF entity to select a first session management control function (SMF) entity, and the second network slice selection information is used by the AMF entity to select a second SMF entity, and receiving, by the terminal, a second message from the AMF entity, where the second message includes second information, and the second information includes PDU session establishment accept information.

    Abstract: A data communication method, where a first device receives a request message from at least one second device, where the request message requests the first device to forward group data, and the request message carries a group identifier. The first device returns a response message to the at least one second device, where the response message carries a layer-2 address and an Internet Protocol (IP) address corresponding to the group identifier, and the first device sends the group data using the layer-2 address when receiving the group data sent by a third device to the IP address.

    Abstract: An inter-user equipment discovery method, apparatus and system are disclosed. In an embodiment, the method includes sending, by first user equipment, a discovery request message to a first proximity-based service entity, wherein the discovery request message comprises initial location information of the first user equipment and receiving a discovery response message sent by the first proximity-based service entity, wherein the discovery response message comprises a first code word of the first user equipment. The method further include generating a discovery message according to location offset information and the first code word, wherein the location offset information is an offset between a current location and an initial location of the first user equipment and broadcasting the discovery message, wherein the discovery message is used by a second user equipment to determine a location of the first user equipment.
