Abstract: A system and method for the distribution of time signals is available for devices with multiple communication cores. An embodiment may or may not use a centralized manager for the management of time preservation. When a communication core in a multiple communication core device requires timing information, it may request the time information from another communication core or from the centralized manager. The centralized manager, if present, can obtain time information from an external source or from one of the communication cores. The result can be reduced power consumption at a lower cost.

Abstract: An apparatus for implementing power control for a radio device that has multiple radio transceivers operating in different bands, including sub-bands of a single frequency band. The device implements a power control protocol for communications between the device and a similar peer device. The device sets-up the power control protocol by generating a request to use one of the multiple bands to signal power control operations, and to use another one of the multiple bands to transfer data between the device and the peer device. The device sends the request to the peer device and receives a response. Based on the response, the device identifies a control channel band and a data channel band from among the multiple bands.

Abstract: Apparatuses, computer readable media, and methods for control field for null data packet feedback report trigger are disclosed. A station is disclosed, the station comprising processing circuitry configured to: decode a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (MPDU) comprising an A-control field of type null data packet (NDP) feedback report poll comprising a feedback type field and an indication of a resource unit (RU). The processing circuitry further configured to determine whether the station is scheduled to respond to the A-control field of type NDP feedback report poll, and if the station is scheduled to respond to the A-control field of type NDP feedback report poll, configure the station to transmit a response to a feedback type indicated by the value of the feedback type field on the RU. Apparatuses, computer readable media, and methods for short block acknowledgment with NDP are disclosed.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced channel access for wireless communications. A device may determine a first transmission opportunity (TXOP) for a first time period, wherein the first time period is allocated to the device for transmission of one or more frames to a first device on a channel. The device may determine an extended TXOP for a second time period, wherein the extended TXOP is allocated to the device after a time gap from the first TXOP. The device may perform an enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) operation before accessing the channel. The device may cause to send a first frame of the one or more frames on the channel during the first TXOP.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, computer readable media for coordinated transmission among virtual access points (VAPs). An apparatus of a wireless device comprising processing circuitry is disclosed. The processing circuitry further configured to determine UL resource allocations for the two stations for a trigger frame based on information received from the two VAPs, and to encode the trigger frame for the multi-station UL TXOP, the trigger frame comprising a common VAP identification (ID) of the two VAPs, UL resource allocations for the two stations, and multi-basic service set (M-BSS) identifications (IDs) for each of the two stations.

Abstract: A wireless station (STA) for operation in a wireless network communicates over a first band and a second band, where operation of the first band includes operation of a first set of band-specific medium access control processing and physical-layer circuitry of the STA, and wherein operation of the second band includes operation of a second set of band-specific medium access control processing and physical-layer circuitry of the STA. The STA implements a power-save policy for the STA to coordinate power-save operations between the first band and the second band, where the power-save policy calls for a change in operational parameters of at least the second band. The STA generates a power-save request message for transmission to a remote device over the first band wherein a power-save request message indicates the change in operational parameters for the second band according to the power-save policy.
