摘要: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive one or more physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions and each PDSCH transmission may be associated with downlink control information (DCI) and a group of PDSCH transmissions. Further, the WTRU may determine a first group or a second group based on an indication received in DCI associated with at least one of the PDSCH transmissions. Then, the WTRU may generate hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgment (ACK) feedback for data received in one or more PDSCH transmissions associated with the determined group. Moreover, the WTRU may transmit the HARQ-ACK feedback. In an example, the DCI which includes the indication may schedule a plurality of PDSCH transmissions included in the determined group. In another example, the DCI which includes the indication may further include a first codepoint mapped to the first group or a second codepoint mapped to the second group.

A method in a WTRU incudes functionality for coordinating with a different scheduler for each eNB associated with the WTRU's configuration. Disclosed methods include autonomous WTRU grand selection and power scaling, and dynamic prioritization of transmission and power scaling priority.

摘要: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive/transmit data by employing a discontinuous reception cycle, which may include an awake state and a sleep state. For example, while in an awake state, a WTRU may monitor a PDCCH for a subset of time instances. During the remaining time instances, the WTRU may enter a sleep state, in which the WTRU may switch its receiving circuitry off (e.g., to reduce power consumption). A WTRU may receive (e.g., may expect to receive) one or more transmissions, during an awake state, before entering a sleep state. The durations of an awake state and/or the durations of subsequent sleep states may be determined based on whether the WTRU receives a transmission during the awake state and/or what the transmission was for. The WTRU may modify the value of a sleep state timer based on previous sleep state and/or awake state timer values.

摘要: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a first scheduling assignment that includes an indication of one or more first resources and an indication of a first priority for a first sidelink data transmission from another WTRU. The first WTRU may determine to send a second sidelink data transmission associated with a second priority that is lower than the first priority. The first WTRU may determine a signal strength associated with the first scheduling assignment and may select one or more resources for sending the second sidelink data transmission. The first WTRU may determine that one or more first resources are available for transmission of the second sidelink data transmission based on the signal strength associated with the first scheduling assignment being below a threshold. The first WTRU may send a second scheduling assignment including an indication of the selected one or more resources for the second sidelink data transmission.

摘要: Method, apparatus, and systems for flexible aperiodic reference signal (RS) transmissions are provided. For example, a method implemented in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for wireless communications comprises receiving configuration information of one or more sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets, each SRS resource set of the one or more SRS resource sets is associated with a slot offset and a set of slot offset deltas; receiving downlink control information (DCI) indicating an SRS request, the SRS request indicates an SRS resource set of the one or more SRS resource sets; determining an SRS configuration from a set of SRS configurations for SRS transmissions; determining a slot for transmitting an SRS based on the determined SRS configuration; and transmitting, in the determined slot, the SRS using resources of the indicated SRS resource set.

摘要: Methods and systems for transmitting uplink control information and feedback are disclosed for carrier aggregation systems. A user equipment device may be configured to transmit uplink control information and other feedback for several downlink component carriers using one or more uplink component carriers. The user equipment device may be configured to transmit such data using a physical uplink control channel rather than a physical uplink shared channel. The user equipment device may be configured to determine the uplink control information and feedback data that is to be transmitted, the physical uplink control channel resources to be used to transmit the uplink control information and feedback data, and how the uplink control information and feedback data may be transmitted over the physical uplink control channel.

摘要: Physical layer processing and procedures for device-to-device (D2D) discovery signal generation and transmission and scheduling of D2D discovery signals are described. Detection and measurement of a D2D discovery signal, D2D signal identity management, and monitoring by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) of PDCCH for D2D discovery scheduling is described, as is a WTRU that may be configured with a D2D-specific transmission/reception opportunity pattern. The discovery signal may carry a payload for explicit information about user and/or service identity, and may be mapped to physical resources in such a way as to decouple transmission/reception of the discovery signal from downlink operations. A WTRU may measure a D2D discovery signal quality and report to the network.

摘要: Systems and methods are contemplated for reconfiguration of one or more MAC instances while the WTRU is operating using dual- or multi-MAC instance connectivity. For example, upon reception of RRC reconfiguration information that modifies one or more secondary MAC instances, the WTRU may transmit a reconfiguration complete message to a Macro eNB (MeNB) and may synchronize to small-cell or secondary eNB (SeNB), for example if triggered by one or more of an RRC flag, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) order (MeNB/SeNB), MAC activation information, etc. For example, the WTRU may synchronize to the SeNB for specific type(s) of RRC reconfigurations, but not other type(s) of RRC reconfigurations. Although examples may be described in terms of dual connectivity, the WTRU may establish connectivity and perform mobility procedures with more than two radio access network (RAN) nodes (e.g., eNBs), and the embodiments described may be equally applicable to those scenarios.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses are provided for generating a protocol data unit (PDU). A method may include transmitting a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) include information associated with one or more logical channels. The MAC PDU to be transmitted may be assembled by determining an amount of information associated with one of the one or more logical channels to be included in the MAC PDU; and multiplexing one or more complete service data units (SDUs) associated with at least the one of the one or more logical channels into the MAC PDU. On a condition that multiplexing an additional SDU associated with the one of the one or more logical channels would exceed the determined amount of information, the one or more complete SDUs may be multiplexed with a segment of the additional SDU associated with the one of the one or more logical channels and a header indicating that the segment is not a last segment of the additional SDU.
