    Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for connectivity supervision and recovery. A WTRU may supervise its capability to transmit and receive data, including in the absence of a control channel (e.g. grant-less transmission). A supervision framework may permit a WTRU to supervise, for example, quality of a feedback channel, quality of reciprocal resources and/or transmission attempts. A supervision process may be a function of a control channel structure or WTRU state. A supervision process may be associated with a quality of service. A supervision process may be based on WTRU transmission for energy/resource efficient operation. Multiple Recovery procedures may be defined. A recovery procedure may be a function of a supervision process. A recovery procedure may be optimized for low latency services. Recovery procedures may involve dedicated resources for recovery, transition to light connection, grant-less resource, etc. User plane recovery may include reuse of layer 2 context, data replication to companion MAC instances, etc. Control plane recovery may use RAN paging, WTRU triggered multi-connectivity, etc. A recovery procedure for a supervision process associated with a beam process may include WTRU triggering beam training/beam refinement, etc.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus may perform dual-band or multi-band mesh operations. A dual-band mesh station (MSTA) capable of operating in an O-band and a D-band may seek to join a mesh network, and may receive O-band beacons from at least one MSTA in the mesh network, where the O-band beacons may include D-band mesh information. The joining MSTA may transmit D-band beacons in a time-period specified by the O-band beacon, and on a condition that a beacon response message is received, may further transmit D-band association information via O-band management frames to join mesh network on the D-band. The joining MSTA may perform contention-free scheduled access in the D-band while sharing D-band transmission information in the O-band to enable concurrent communication in the D-band by neighboring multi-band MSTAs.

    Abstract: A system and methods for beam failure recovery and management for multi-carrier communications with beamforming are disclosed herein. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may monitor for and detect a beam failure of a beam associated with a secondary cell (Scell). The WTRU may select an Scell candidate beam. The WTRU may transmit using a selected uplink (UL) resource in a primary cell (SpCell) a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) including an indication of Scell beam failure and identifying the selected candidate beam. The WTRU may receive an Scell beam failure indication response on the SpCell indicating an SCell index and a downlink (DL) quasi co-location (QCL) reference associated with the Scell. The WTRU may verify that the DL QCL reference matches with the candidate beam. The WTRU may perform random access on the SCell using the selected QCL reference and the selected candidate beam.

    Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may communicate in a non-terrestrial network (NTN) comprising a plurality of satellites. The WTRU may be preconfigured with a plurality of measurement configurations and a corresponding plurality of activation/deactivation criteria associated with the plurality of satellites. The activation/deactivation criteria includes at least activation timing information. The WTRU may activate and deactivate each of the plurality of measurement configurations over time in accordance with the activation/deactivation criteria. The WTRU may perform measurements on cell beams for satellites with active measurement configurations and report results based on the measurements to NTN.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for power saving in a wireless network are disclosed. A Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit (WTRU) may comprise a transmitter, a receiver, and a processor. The processor may determine a processing state pertaining to behavior of the WTRU and determine a minimum amount of resources to be processed for one or more sets of physical resources based on the determined processing state. Each respective set of physical resources may comprise resources in time, and any of frequency or space. For each respective set of physical resources, the time may comprise a frame structure associated with a numerology applicable to the respective set of physical resources, the frequency may comprise any of a frequency location, a bandwidth, or the numerology, and the space may comprise one or more beams. The processor may process the determined minimum amount of resources of the one of more sets of physical resources.
