    摘要: A brake disc for a vehicle has at least one annular friction surface provided on at least one outer face of the disc to which a brake pad can be applied for braking purposes. The friction surface has a large number of subsegments, at least some of which are physically separated from one another by expansion joints. The brake disc is configured in such a way that the depth of the expansion joints is greater than the permissible rate of wear of the friction surface.

    摘要: The invention relates to a brake disk/hub assembly for vehicle disk brakes comprising a hub and a brake disk, which is arranged thereon in a manner that prevents it from turning. The brake disk is arranged in the axial direction of the hub in such a manner that it can be axially displaced against an elastic pretensioning exerted by a number of spring elements. To this end, each spring element has a retaining section by means of which it is fixed to the hub. Each spring element also comprises at least one spring section, which rests against at least one assigned intermediate element that is essentially arranged between the hub and the brake disk. The inventive design is advantageous by virtue of the fact that the spring elements are not in direct contact with the brake disk thereby effectively preventing the spring elements from becoming thermally overloaded. The functional reliability of the spring elements can thus be maintained over a long period of time.

Stationary and rotating radially oriented discs are pressed against one another during braking while overcoming a clearance. The method is characterized in that once the brake is released, the discs associated with each other are separated from each other to such an extent as to form an oil-free or substantially oil-free clearance, wherein the clearance is minimized prior to braking by advancing the discs towards each another.

    摘要: A pneumatically actuatable disc brake has a caliper straddling a brake disc. One brake pad on an application side being actuatable by a rotary lever of a brake application device. A brake cylinder, which can be pressurized using air pressure, is attached to a flange of calliper. The brake cylinder engages into the rotary lever via a cylinder plunger and has a return spring for returning the cylinder plunger to an unstressed initial position. The return spring abuts against the base of a cover supported on the flange. The disc brake is configured such that a self-energizing device is provided having a self-energizing factor selected such that the brake automatically releases itself after braking. The flange forms an abutment for the return spring.

    摘要: An axle shaft includes an electromechanically or pneumatically actuated disc brake, especially for a useful vehicle. The brake disc and the caliper can be displaced in relation to each other, and the caliper is fixed to the axle shaft on at least two fixing plates extending preferably from the axle shaft in different directions, at at least respectively one fixing point. The axle shaft is characterized by the arrangement, especially the orientation and/or embodiment, of the fixing plates, and the fixing points of the caliper or of an optional brake carrier on the fixing plates, which is selected in such a way that there is either no displacement of the fixing points on the fixing plates or a parallel displacement of the fixing points on both fixing plates perpendicularly to the brake disc.
