    摘要： Fatty (meth)acrylates having a %-EpO content of below 0.6, which are reaction products of epoxidized compounds selected from the group consisting of epoxidized fatty acid esters, epoxidized triglycerides and mixtures thereof, and acids selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid and mixtures thereof, wherein the %-EpO content of the epoxidized compound is above 6.4, wherein the epoxidized compound is an epoxidation product of fatty acid moieties having one or more carbon-carbon double bonds, wherein less than 20 mole % of the fatty acid moieties contain three or more carbon-carbon double bonds, and wherein greater than 60 mole % of the fatty acid moieties contain two carbon-carbon double bonds are useful as pigment dispersants. Pigment dispersant concentrates, aqueous pigment dispersions and methods of dispersing pigments with the fatty (meth)acrylates are described.

    摘要： Radically post-crosslinked polymers are made by a process comprising the steps of: (1) forming a polyurethane (a*) by reacting a compound (a) with an aliphatic and/or an aromatic isocyanate and a compound (c) wherein compound (a) is the product of the reaction of an epoxidized fatty acid ester and/or an epoxidized triglyceride with acrylic acid and/or methacrylic acid and wherein compound (c) is a polyol ester having two or more C═C double bonds per molecule; (2) forming a crosslinked polyurethane by reacting the polyurethane (a*) with a radical initiator (b). The polymers are useful as components in composites comprised of natural and/or synthetic fibers.

The diol alkoxylates described and used herein are of the general formulae (I), (II) and/or (III): wherein each of R1, R2, R3, R5, R7 and R8 independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having from 1 to about 36 carbon atoms, with the proviso that both R1 and R2 are not simultaneously hydrogen atoms and the total number of carbon atoms in R1 and R2 is from about 6 to about 38, and with the proviso that both R3 and R5 are not simultaneously hydrogen atoms and the total number of carbon atoms in R3 and R5 is from about 6 to about 38, wherein R4 represents a linear or branched alkylene group having from about 2 to about 12 carbon atoms or (—CH2—CHR6—O)z—, wherein R6 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, wherein each of x and y independently represent a number of from about 1 to about 200, z represents a number of from about 1 to about 20, n represents a number of from about 2 to about 12, and wherein the sum of x+y is a number of from about 5 to about 200.
