    摘要: A variable displacement pump includes a pump structural member configured to change volumes of a plurality of working chambers by rotation of a rotor, so as to introduce oil through an inlet port into the working chambers and to discharge the oil through a discharge port, and further configured to oscillate a cam ring by a discharge pressure introduced into a control oil chamber. A first coil spring is provided to force the cam ring in a direction for increasing of a rate of change of the working-chamber volume. A second coil spring is provided to force the cam ring in a direction for decreasing of the rate of change of the working-chamber volume. The first and second coil springs are laid out on both sides of an arm portion of the cam ring in a manner so as to be opposed to each other.

    摘要: In a variable displacement vane pump employing a cam ring, a pump rotor, and a plurality of vanes, each slidably fitted into the rotor, a biasing member is provided to force the cam ring in a direction that a geometric center of an inner peripheral surface of the cam ring and a rotation center of the rotor are spaced apart from each other. A force, by which the cam ring can be oscillated against the biasing member in accordance with a buildup of a pressure in a pump discharge portion, acts on the inner peripheral surface of the cam ring.

    摘要: A structure and method are provided for forming a through hole at one portion of a side wall of an expanded portion made by plastically deforming one part of a metal tube radially outward, in a portion where the plate thickness gradually changes. A slide tool is withdrawn from inside a punch hole while applying hydraulic pressure to the inside of the side wall. Regarding a tip end face of the slide tool, a portion facing the portion of the side wall where the plate thickness is relatively thick is recessed. At the instant of commencing withdrawal of the slide tool, the degree of progress in the shearing for the portions of the side wall matching with the two side edges of the punch hole is made different. Then, the timing for moving from shearing to rupture is made to coincide, so that of the side wall, the portions matching with the punch hole, are made reliably into a blank, and are extracted from the side wall.

    摘要: A hollow rack shaft is manufactured through a first step, a second step and a third step. At the first step, the plate-like workpiece of substantial rectangular shape is press formed into a gutter-like shape. The first die set used at this step is provided with slant die surfaces for canceling elastic recovering generated at the workpiece when the workpiece is removed from the first die set. At the second step, a row of rack teeth is press-formed on the flat bottom portion of the workpiece formed in the first step. The die set used at the second step is provided with a recess for releasing surplus workpiece material within the die clearance at a stroke end of the pressworking. At the third step, each of a pair of legs of the workpiece is bent in a semi-circular shape so as to be butted to each other. At this time, a mandrel is inserted between the legs of the workpiece.

    摘要: A joining alloy of the invention is based on Co, Ni, or their alloy, and contains 1.0 to 2.3% by mass of C and 15.5 to 34.7% by mass of W. Using HIP, the joining alloy in the form of a casting or powders is integrated with a WC--Co or WC--Ni type cemented carbide via diffusion joining. Using HIP, it is also possible to obtain a composite material having an integral structure in which a cemented carbide and the joining alloy, and the joining alloy and steel are joined together via diffusion joining. The joining alloy may additionally contain up to 30% by mass of Fe, up to 3% by mass of Si and up to 3% by mass of Mn as well as up to 10% by mass of at least one selected from Cr, Mo, V, Nb, Ti, Zr, and Ta. It is thus possible to obtain a joining alloy having an improved joining strength without producing a brittle phase therein even upon joined to the WC--Co or WC--Ni type cemented carbide, and its composite material.
