One is selected from among picked images inputted from a vehicle with respect to each of areas to which the image pickup points of those picked images belong based on the image pickup information and a predetermined selection condition. The selected picked image is stored on the storing medium.

As a result, the data transmission from the subject vehicle can be made (i) in high repetition times with respect to a nearby vehicle having a greater risk of collision (i.e., time to collision being shorter), and (ii) in low repetition times with respect to a distant vehicle having a less risk of collision (i.e., time to collision being longer).

Because the voltage acting on the output terminal of the transistor consequently increases, the transistor operates at a point at which the nonlinearity of its input-output characteristic is greater and the output power of the multiplied output signal increases.

    摘要: In a commutation system, a data packet is transmitted and received by radio among radio communication apparatuses. In the communication system, the data packet is started to be transmitted on a transmission right acquired on contention type access control in response to a transmission request for the data packet. It is detected that there is a predetermined state in which the transmission request is generated during or after reception of a long packet which is over a given packet length. When the predetermined state is detected, a start timing of the access control is shifted to a timing at which a desired delay time passes after completing reception of the long packet. One example is that an elapse time from a start of reception of the long packet to generation of the transmission request is measured and, as the desired delay time, a period of time calculated by multiplying the measured elapse time by a specified coefficient is set.

    摘要: Fragment data is generated with respect to a certain data aggregate that is one of a plurality of data aggregates using a coded matrix. The fragment data is capable of restoring the certain data aggregate based on the coded matrix when the fragment data is collected to a required count. The generated fragment data is provided with an identification code associated with the certain data aggregate restored by the fragment data. The fragment data having the identification code is transmitted to a transmission channel. Further, the same transmission channel can be used to transmit the multiple pieces of the fragment data corresponding to the multiple data aggregates. When a receiving party is previously notified of the identification code, it can receive the fragment data by distinguishing which fragment data should restore which data aggregate.

    摘要: A download method forms a download user network with a plurality of user terminals which are going to download the same data. The delivery server divides the data into data portions, and assigns the data portions to the respective user terminals belonging to the download user network. Then each of the user terminals downloads the assigned data portion from the delivery server. Thereafter the downloaded data portions are mutually transmitted among the user terminals within the download user network so that each of the user terminals can obtain all the data portions which constitute the data. Each of the user terminals combines the obtained data portions into the original data. Thus the data is efficiently downloaded to the plurality of user terminals.

    摘要: A radar apparatus is provided which includes a transmitter, a receiver, and a signal processor. The transmitter produces a transmit signal which is so modulated in frequency as to change with time cyclically and transmits the transmit signal as a radar wave. The receiver selectively establishes communication with one of receiving antennas and changes the communications with the receiving antennas in sequence in a cycle shorter than a cycle of a change in the frequency of the transmit signal to supply a series of signal components of input signals produced by the receiving antennas. The receiver mixes the series of signal components with a local signal having the same frequency as that of the transmit signal to produce a beat signal. The signal processor samples the beat signal to analyze frequency components thereof to determine the distance to, relative speed and azimuth of a target. These arrangements result in simplicity of the whole structure of the radar apparatus, thereby allowing radar information about the target to be obtained accurately by the compact structure.
