    摘要: A method and apparatus for a lateral torque extension assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a gear train comprising a plurality of gears aligned along a longitudinal axis. The assembly includes an input drive body for receiving a rotational drive source and imparting a rotational force to one of the gears in the gear train. The assembly includes an output drive assembly having an output drive gear and an output drive body for imparting a rotational force laterally to a threaded member. The assembly has various configurations. The assembly has a first configuration where the output drive body may be mounted to a last one of the gears in the gear train and a second configuration where the output drive body may be mounted to an intermediate one of the gears in the gear train. The gear train may also be configured to accommodate two drive sources.

The arrangement also includes a control and evaluation device which is coupled at least to the sensor electrode to detect a capacitance between sensor electrode and actuating electrode.

    摘要: A system and method may be used to calculate insulin on board (IOB) for an extended bolus being delivered by an insulin infusion pump. In general, the system and method calculates an extended bolus IOB value for the extended bolus, which takes into account the insulin currently on board from the extended bolus and the insulin scheduled to be delivered by the extended bolus over a subsequent time period equivalent to a duration of insulin action.
