    摘要： The present invention relates to leave on, oil-in-water, skin care compositions, comprising: (A) from about 0.05% to about 20% of an acidic active ingredient, preferably having a solubility parameter from about 6 to about 12; (B) from about 0.1% to about 25% of alkoxylated alcohols, alkoxylated polyols, and mixtures thereof; (C) from about 1% to about 20% of an acid stable, hydrophobic, structuring agent selected from the group consisting of saturated C.sub.16 to C.sub.30 fatty alcohols, saturated C.sub.16 to C.sub.30 fatty alcohols containing from about 1 to about 5 moles of ethylene oxide, saturated C.sub.16 to C.sub.30 diols, saturated C.sub.16 to C.sub.30 monoglycerol ethers, saturated C.sub.16 to C.sub.30 hydroxy fatty acids, and mixtures thereof, having a melting point of at least about 45.degree. C.; (D) from about 0.05% to about 10% of an acid stable, hydrophilic surfactant selected from the group consisting of anionic, cationic, zwitterionic, nonionic surfactant, and mixtures thereof; and (F) from about 25% to about 99.7% water; wherein the pH of the composition is about 3.5 or less. These cosmetic compositions provide improved physical and chemical stability, while providing good skin deposition and good skin penetration of the active ingredients, while also providing low dermal irritation.

    摘要： Personal care compositions comprise (a) from about 0.01 wt. % to about 10 wt. % of a galactomannan polymer derivative having a mannose to galactose ratio of greater than 2:1 on a monomer to monomer basis, the galactomannan polymer derivative selected from a cationic galactomannan polymer derivative and an amphoteric galactomannan polymer derivative having a net positive charge, wherein the cationic galactomannan polymer has a molecular weight from about 1,000 to about 10,000,000 and a cationic charge density from about 0.7 meq/g to about 7 meq/g; (b) from about 5 wt. % to about 35 wt. % of an anionic surfactant system, the anionic surfactant system comprising at least one anionic surfactant and having an ethoxylate level and an anion level, (i) wherein the ethoxylate level is from about 1 to about 6, and (ii) wherein the anion level is from about 1.5 to about 6; and (c) an aqueous carrier. Personal care compositions as described above further comprise from about 0.01 wt. % to about 10 wt. % of one or more conditioning agents. Methods of treating hair or skin comprise applying the personal care compositions as described above to the hair or skin and rinsing the hair or skin.

    摘要： Anhydrous, solid antiperspirant compositions comprising: (a) from about 0.1% to about 30% by weight of the composition, of a high-efficacy antiperspirant active; (b) from about 0.1% to about 35% by weight of the composition, of a thickening agent; (c) from about 10% to about 99% by weight of the composition, of an anhydrous liquid carrier; (d) from about 5 ppm to about 20% by weight of the composition, of a primary fragrance; and (e) from at least about 5 ppm by weight of the composition, of a secondary fragrance that is distinct from the primary fragrance and is included in a surfactant-free, water-releasable matrix, which renders the secondary fragrance within the matrix substantially odorless prior to aqueous activation, wherein the anhydrous, solid antiperspirant composition exhibits an Antiperspirant Efficacy Index of at least about 0.9, and wherein the anhydrous, solid antiperspirant composition is substantially devoid of a malodor reducing agent.
