摘要: A method for use of a RA preamble with multiple available RACH resources is described. The method includes allocating resources including a plurality of RACH resources for a UE. Information that indicates a dedicated preamble and the allocated resources is sent to the UE. The UE receives the information. A response including the dedicated preamble is generated at the UE. The method also includes the UE sending the response over at least two of the allocated resources. In response to receiving at least one response, a message is transmitted to the UE. Apparatus and computer readable media are also described

摘要: A method, a device, and a system for sending and receiving messages are provided. The method for sending messages includes: receiving, by a Mobility Management Entity (MME), an Earthquake and Tsunami Warning System (ETWS) message; setting an information change identifier if the received ETWS message is different from the ETWS message stored by the MME; and sending the received ETWS message and the information change identifier. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the MME decides whether to send the ETWS message to the eNB. Therefore, the eNB needs only to transmit the received message to the UE transparently, and does not need to judge the content of the ETWS message, thus simplifying the process of the eNB sending the ETWS message and reducing the load of the access network device.

摘要: A packaged light emitting device 100 that allows enhanced light cutoff in lighting applications to better control glare and optimize lumen output. Packaged device 100 includes an LED array 4 in cavity 32 whose inner wall includes both a reflective wall portion 34 and a non-reflective wall portion 36 to increase output of useful light while mitigating reflection of light that can cause glare. An array 4, preferably linear, of light-emitting diodes 3 is formed on printed circuit board (PCB) 1, and surrounded by wall 30 which bounds cavity 32. A first circuit board portion 20 of PCB upper surface 2 enclosed within wall 30 disposed forward of LED array 4 and adjoining non-reflective wall portion 36 is non-reflective, such as being black. A second circuit board portion 22 is reflective, such as being silvered. Packaged device 100 is suited for automotive headlights and fog lights.

摘要: In one embodiment, a processor includes a caching home agent (CHA) coupled to a core and a cache memory and includes a cache controller having a cache pipeline and a home agent having a home agent pipeline. The CHA may: receive, in the home agent pipeline, information from an external agent responsive to a miss for data in the cache memory; issue a global ordering signal from the home agent pipeline to a requester of the data to inform the requester of receipt of the data; and report issuance of the global ordering signal to the cache pipeline, to prevent the cache pipeline from issuance of a global ordering signal to the requester. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要: A method, a device and a base station for controlling handover are described. In order to control handover from a source base station to a target base station in a wireless communication system, where the target base station controls multiple cells, preference levels for candidate cells to be used as a target cell for the handover are received from the target base station; and handover parameters for the candidate cells are adjusted by taking the preference levels into account when selecting the target cell for the handover. With the present invention, at least benefits of target eNB inter-cell interference coordination, load optimization among cells, tendency to dedicated-configured cell etc. may be achieved.

摘要: In one aspect, the present invention comprises an apparatus and method for improving energy saving procedures in a wireless communication network, wherein one or more cells in the network are selectively inactivated for energy savings and reactivated as needed. More particularly, the present invention provides improved control for transitioning a cell to or from a power savings mode, including dynamic, adjustable power control and handover parameter control, based on the involved cells exchanging status and/or control information. The dynamic control results in gradual rather than abrupt changes to cell coverage area, as a cell is transitioned to or from the power savings mode.
