摘要: A liquid ejecting head includes plural ejection outlets for ejecting droplets; liquid flow paths in fluid communication with the ejection outlets; and a liquid supply opening for supplying the liquid to the liquid flow paths. The ejection outlets include first and second ejection outlets disposed at least at one side of the liquid supply opening and are staggered. The first ejection outlets are nearer to the liquid supply opening than the second ejection outlets. Each of first recording elements corresponding to the first ejection outlets includes one rectangular heat generating resistor having a long side extending along a direction crossing with an arranging direction of the ejection outlets. Each of second recording elements corresponding to the second ejection outlets comprises plural rectangular heat generating resistors which are adjacent to each other at long sides thereof and are electrically connected in series.

摘要: A disclosed solar cell module includes: a translucent substrate; a translucent light-receiving-surface-side conductive layer formed on the substrate; a first semiconductor layer formed on the light-receiving-surface-side conductive layer; a transparent conductive layer formed on the first semiconductor layer; and a second semiconductor layer formed on the transparent conductive layer. The solar cell module has a first separating groove that separates the light-receiving-surface-side conductive layer into parts, and a transparent conductive layer separating groove formed continuously from the first separating groove and that separates the transparent conductive layer and the first semiconductor layer into parts. Those grooves are filled with the material of the second semiconductor layer. The transparent conductive layer separating groove at a side of the first separating groove is larger in width than the first separating groove at a side of the transparent conductive layer separating groove.

摘要: In a semiconductor laser device of the invention, a ridge portion 150 forms a waveguide, and guided light goes along the ridge portion 150. A tail of the guided layer is present also at first side portions 151, while second side portions 152 are regions which the tail of the guided light does not reach. Meanwhile, scattered light generated from the ridge portion 150 goes through the first side portions 15, spreading into the second side portions 152. In the second side portions 152, a light absorption layer 127 serving as a light absorber is formed on the first upper clad layer 108, where the scattered light is absorbed. As a result of the absorption of scattered light in the second side portions 152, ripples of radiation light are reduced. Also since the light absorption layer 127 is in electrical contact with a p-side ohmic electrode 125, the problem of charge accumulation to the light absorption layer 127 can be avoided.
