    Abstract: An electric motor includes a housing with a tubular wall extending in an axial direction of the housing and a closures positioned at opposite axial ends of the tubular wall, a stator fixedly mounted inside of the housing, a rotor rotatably mounted inside of the housing, and a bearing rotatably supporting the rotor. At least one of the closures includes a rotor supporting portion. The rotor supporting portion includes a through hole configured to receive a portion of the rotor. The through hole has a triangular or polygonal shape, and a radius of an inscribed circle of the triangular or polygonal shape of the through hole is larger than a radius of the portion of the rotor received in the through hole.

    Abstract: A housing for an electric motor includes a tubular wall extending in an axial direction of the housing, and closures at opposite axial ends of the tubular wall to rotatably support opposite axial end portions of a rotor. At least one of the closures is separate from the tubular wall and includes a radially inner portion and a radially outer flange that, in an assembled state, is in physical contact with a radially inner surface of the tubular wall and extends from the radially inner portion of the separate closure towards the opposite axial end of the tubular wall.

    Abstract: A bus bar unit used in a motor comprising a coil may include a bus bar electrically connected to the coil of the motor; and a bus bar holder comprising a resin material and configured to hold the bus bar. The bus bar may include a plurality of bus bar members including a metal material. The plurality of bus bar members may include a first bus bar member which has a terminal portion connected to a lead wire configuring the coil, and a first connection portion. T connection portion may be configured by connecting the first connection portion of the first bus bar member and a second connection portion provided in a second bus bar member which is the other one of the plurality of bus bar members, and at least a portion of the connection portion of the bus bar is held in the bus bar holder.

    Abstract: A motor assembly includes a motor with a rotor rotatable about a motor shaft and a stator located radially outside the rotor, an inverter to supply power to the motor, a housing provided with a motor housing space that houses the motor and an inverter housing space that houses the inverter, and a first bus bar that electrically connects the motor and the inverter. The housing includes a partition wall portion that partitions the motor housing space and the inverter housing space and is provided with a through hole penetrating in the axial direction. The first bus bar is connected to a coil wire extending from the stator at an end on one side in the axial direction of the stator in the motor housing space, and extends to the inverter housing space through the through hole.

    Abstract: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a driving device is a driving device for rotating an axle of a vehicle and includes: a motor having a rotor rotating about a motor axis extending in a horizontal direction orthogonal to a vertical direction; a reduction gear connected to the rotor; a differential gear connected to the motor via the reduction gear; and a housing configured to house the motor, the reduction gear and the differential gear therein. The housing has a protrusion that protrudes upward in the vertical direction, and at least one circumferential rib that extends in a circumferential direction. The protrusion has a female screw hole into which an eye bolt can be tightened. At least one of the circumferential ribs is connected to the protrusion.

A pivot shaft is directly or indirectly attached to the axially upper end of the fixed shaft, the pivot shaft being at least partially fixed in a third through-hole of a motor flange.
