    Abstract: The present disclosure enables the assignment of multiple semi-persistent resource assignments at the same time for use in V2V communications. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE (e.g., a vehicle). The UE may determine at least one resource pattern required for V2V communications. The UE may also send assistance information for the at least one resource pattern to a base station. Further, the UE may receive, from the base station, a response associated with the at least one resource pattern. In an aspect, the response may include an index of approved resource patterns. Further still, the UE may receive, from the base station, an activation grant for a resource assignment for the at least one resource pattern. In an aspect, activation grant may include the index of approved resource patterns being activated.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide methods for transmitting, by a user equipment (UE) channel state information (CSI) feedback when the UE is capable of an advanced function, for example, when the UE is capable of successive interference cancellation (SIC) and/or joint decoding. An exemplary method generally includes determining a first time scale for transmitting capability information regarding receiver performance at the UE, determining a second time scale for transmitting channel condition information, and transmitting the capability information according to the determined first time scale and the channel condition information according to the determined second time scale.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are describe for signaling protocols for proximity service functions in a wireless communication system. A first wireless device may identify a wireless relay requirement associated with the first wireless device. A proximity service protocol may be initiated between the first wireless device and a second wireless device based at least in part on the identified wireless relay requirement. The proximity service protocol may be initiated prior to an initiation of a communication data exchange between the first wireless device and the second wireless device. A relay link may be established, via the ProSe protocol, between the first wireless device and the second wireless device based at least in part on the identified wireless relay requirement.

    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided.
