Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for DCI content and modified/enhanced codebook Type 3 HARQ PUCCH content for deferred SPS PUCCH ACK/NACK. In aspects, a UE may receive, from a base station, DCI including a request for HARQ-ACK feedback associated with at least one resource that is unavailable. The HARQ-ACK feedback may be based on one or more one-shot HARQ-ACK codebooks including one or more bits. The UE may transmit, to the base station, the HARQ-ACK feedback associated with the at least one resource that is unavailable, where the HARQ-ACK feedback includes the one or more one-shot HARQ-ACK codebooks including the one or more bits.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein relate to a user equipment (UE) that may include a wakeup radio in addition to a main radio to monitor for wakeup signals while the UE is in a sleep mode. The wakeup radio receiver may use less power than the main radio. In some examples, a first UE may indicate to a wireless node (e.g., a controlling sidelink UE or a network entity) that the UE is capable of sending wakeup signals to a second UE. In such examples, the wireless node may transmit a wakeup signal intended for the second UE to the first UE based on the capability report. The first UE may relay the wakeup signal to the second UE. Responsive to receiving the wakeup signal, the second UE may wake up the main radio of the second UE for communications.

Abstract: During positioning of a user equipment (UE), downlink (DL) positioning reference signals (PRS) transmitted by one or more transmission reception point (TRP) in a wireless communication system may be preempted or punctured by higher priority transmissions, such as ultra-reliable low-latency traffic (URLLC). A PRS preemption indication (PI) may be provided to a UE by a serving TRP identifying one or more TRPs affected by preemption. The PRS PI may further identify the time domain and frequency domain of the preempted DL PRS transmissions. The PRS PI may identify the time domain, e.g., based on a number of PRS symbols between two monitoring occasions, wherein only PRS symbols that contain downlink positioning reference signals associated with the group of TRPs are counted. The PRS PI may identify the frequency domain by identifying at least one of four or more frequency sub-bands of the preempted DL PRS transmissions.

Abstract: Handling of asynchronous multi-carrier is discussed. In new radio (NR) fifth generation (5G) networks, the potential for provision of multi-carrier operations (e.g., carrier aggregation (CA), dual connectivity (DC), etc.) that include asynchronous component carriers (CCs) has been proposed. However, because of the asynchronous relationship network entities, such as base stations and user equipments (UEs) will manage the asynchronous CCs by obtaining timing offset information, either through derivation or direct signaling, and determining a subframe correspondence based on the timing offset relative to a reference CC. By determining the subframe correspondence to the reference CC, the base stations and UEs can accurately map communications over the asynchronous CCs to the appropriate subframes across CCs.

The UE receives a second control message scheduling an uplink message including a set of CBGs, where the uplink message is associated with a first codeword, a second codeword, or both. The UE then transmits the uplink message in accordance with the CBG scheduling configuration, where the set of CBGs are mapped to one of the first or second codeword in accordance with the first mapping configuration, or where the set of CBGs are mapped to the first and second codewords in accordance with the second mapping configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive first signaling, and may transmit a first wake-up signal (WUS) based on information associated with a channel, where the information may be determined based on receiving the first signaling. The UE may monitor one or more channels, during a duration, for one or more signals based on transmitting the first WUS. If the UE fails to receive the one or more signals via the one or more channels during the duration, the UE may transmit a second WUS after the duration. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A method at a user equipment (UE) includes receiving signaling that indicates a carrier aggregation (CA) configuration (having carriers configured for UL and downlink (DL) data transmissions) and an auxiliary uplink (UL) configuration (having carriers configured for UL reference signal transmissions). The method also includes receiving a resource assignment on a DL carrier of the CA configuration, and transmitting an aperiodic sounding reference signal (A-SRS) using the one or more carriers of the auxiliary UL configuration based at least in part on the received resource assignment. Another method is performed by a UE having a CA configuration and an A-SRS configuration, including receiving a resource assignment on a DL carrier in the CA configuration, detecting a trigger for transmitting an A-SRS, determining UL resources of the A-SRS configuration for transmitting the A-SRS, and transmitting the A-SRS on the determined UL resources.
