    摘要： An improved door and drawer assembly for use with a seat on a passenger vehicle. The door and drawer assembly are installed in the passenger vehicle independent of the seat and thus not physically connected to the seat frame. Any load that is applied to the seat frame during movement of the vehicle or caused by passenger movement or support is not imposed on the door and drawer assembly. Accordingly, the operation of the door and drawer assembly is not adversely affected by the loads imposed on the seat frame. Alternatively, the drawer assembly can be excluded so that the door assembly can provide access to an area under the seat in which emergency equipment, such as a life raft bag assembly and life vests, can be stored.

    摘要： A curved tracking platform that can be employed on a dynamic seat or divan such as those used in a business jet aircraft so that the seat can be comfortably used as a seat or in an extended bed position. When in the unextended seat position, the tracking platform allows the horizontal portion of the seat to support an occupant pitched back toward the vertical seat cushion at or about an angle of 6° to the horizontal. However, when the tracking platform is extended so that the seat can be used as a bed, the tracking platform travels along a curved frame rail profile which allows the platform to lay flat or substantially flat, thus allowing the vertical cushion to be placed next to the horizontal seat cushion so that they lie substantially flat to provide optimized comfort.

    摘要： An armrest for a passenger seat includes an armrest support for being pivotally-mounted to a seat frame for movement between a lowered position and a raised position. The armrest support defines a void for carrying wiring and cabling and an opening adjacent the pivoting end of the armrest for permitting access to the interior of the armrest support. An armrest pivot cover is provided for normally being received in and covering the opening of the armrest support to protect the wiring and cabling. The armrest pivot cover includes a pivoting cylindrical member mounted for pivotal movement in a socket for a predetermined range of pivotal movement relative to the armrest support. A flexible hinge is carried by the pivoting cylindrical pivoting member for permitting further movement of the lower armrest cover past the partially-open position to a fully-open position thereby exposing fully the wiring for installation or service access.
