    Abstract: A projection arrangement for a head-up display (HUD), includes a composite pane, which includes an outer pane and an inner pane joined to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer and has an HUD region; an electrically conductive coating on the surface of the outer pane or the inner pane facing the intermediate layer or within the intermediate layer; and an HUD projector, which is directed at the HUD region; wherein the radiation of the projector is p-polarised, wherein the electrically conductive coating includes a first dielectric layer or layer sequence, a first electrically conductive layer, a second dielectric layer or layer sequence, a second electrically conductive layer, a third dielectric layer or layer sequence, a third electrically conductive layer, a fourth dielectric layer or layer sequence, a fourth electrically conductive layer, and a fifth dielectric layer or layer sequence.

    Abstract: A projection arrangement for a head-up display (HUD), includes a composite pane, including an outer and an inner pane connected to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer, with an HUD region; an electrically conductive coating on the surface of the outer or inner pane facing the intermediate layer or within the intermediate layer; and a projector that is directed toward the HUD region. The radiation of the projector is p-polarised. The composite pane with the electrically conductive coating has reflectance of at least 10% relative to p-polarised radiation in the spectral range from 450 nm to 650 nm. The electrically conductive coating includes at least three electrically conductive layers, which are each arranged between two dielectric layers or layer sequences. The sum of the thicknesses of all electrically conductive layers is at most 30 nm and the electrically conductive layers have a thickness of 5 nm to 10 nm.

    Abstract: A projection assembly for a head-up display (HUD), includes a windshield, including outer and inner panes that are joined to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer and having an HUD region; and a projector aimed at the HUD region. The radiation of the projector is predominantly p-polarised, and the windshield is provided with a reflection coating that is suitable for reflecting p-polarised radiation. The reflection coating has exactly one electrically conductive layer based on silver, a lower dielectric layer or layer sequence whose refractive index is at least 1.9 is arranged beneath the electrically conductive layer, an upper dielectric layer or layer sequence whose refractive index is at least 1.9 is arranged above the electrically conductive layer, the ratio of the optical thickness of the upper dielectric layer or layer sequence to the optical thickness of the lower dielectric layer or layer sequence is at least 1.7.
