An embodiment of the present disclosure may provide a power consumption controlling method and apparatus. An embodiment of the present disclosure may provide a method and apparatus for controlling power consumption by a base station, the method comprising: determining empty symbol duration in at least one subframe; and performing a power amplifier (PA) on/off operation based on the determination result. Further, an embodiment of the present disclosure may provide a method and apparatus for controlling power consumption by a base station, the method comprising: generating baseband in-phase/quadrature-phase (IQ) data; determining whether the baseband IQ data includes data which must be transmitted for a predetermined time; and controlling a PA on/off based on the determination result and a transient of a power amplifier (PA).

A latch circuit and an equalizer including the same are provided. The equalizer includes: an even data path configured to receive a reception data signal and including a first summing circuit and a first latch circuit; and an odd data path configured to receive the reception data signal and including a second summing circuit and a second latch circuit. An even data signal output from the first latch circuit is configured to be input to the second summing circuit, and an odd data signal output from the second latch circuit is configured to be input to the first summing circuit. Each of the first latch circuit and the second latch circuit includes a latch and a multiplexer.

A clock data recovery circuit includes a phase locked loop (PLL), a code signal generator, and a clock and data generator. The PLL generates a plurality of reference clock signals of which frequencies are modulated. Each of the plurality of reference clock signals has a first profile that is periodically fluctuated. The code signal generator generates a first compensation code signal. The first compensation code signal has a second profile that is periodically fluctuated and is different from the first profile. The clock and data generator generates a recovered data signal by sampling an input data signal based on a clock signal, compensates a frequency modulation on the plurality of reference clock signals based on the first compensation code signal, and includes a phase interpolator that generates the clock signal based on the plurality of reference clock signals and the first compensation code signal.

The device includes a clock controller configured to monitor whether a signal is allocated to an input and control a frequency of clocks to have a first or second characteristic based on the monitored result, and a data processor configured to process the input, and synchronize with the clock controlled by the clock controller.

The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving information between servers in a contents transmission network system and, more particularly, to a method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving information between a core node and an edge node belonging to a contents transmission network. To accomplish the objective mentioned above, a method for receiving, by a receiving server, information in a contents transmission network according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving first information from a transmission server; determining a transmission unit of the first information on the basis of the received first information; transmitting, to the transmission server, a second information transmission request including information on the determined transmission unit; and receiving, from the transmission server, second information generated on the basis of the information on the transmission unit. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method and the apparatus for transmitting and receiving information between servers in a contents transmission network system can generate compressed information on the basis of original information sought to be transmitted between servers, whereby it is possible to obtain an effect of improving optimal compression efficiency, transmission efficiency between servers, and performance regarding the delay time between both communication ends.

A method for managing a buffer by a base station in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes calculating a transmission delay time that is an average of waiting time of packets transmitted for a predetermined time, identifying whether the calculated transmission delay time is greater than a preset delay time threshold value, and rearranging, if the transmission delay time is greater than the delay time threshold value, a transmission order of the packets in the buffer.

Provided is a method of configuring a secondary cell (SCell) for a base station (eNB) in a mobile communication system. The method may include: identifying the carrier aggregation (CA) operation mode; identifying the amount of traffic for a user equipment (UE); determining whether to add an SCell in the UE on the basis of the CA operation mode and the traffic amount for the UE; and transmitting an SCell addition request message to the UE according to the determination result. There is also provided a base station applying the above method. In addition, there are provided a user equipment communicating with the base station and an SCell configuration method for the user equipment.
