Abstract: A search method in a portable terminal using a keyword is disclosed. A portable terminal transmits, to a server, setting information for a smart push in which a keyword and a search term are set. The server determines whether the keyword falls within top popular search rankings during a term period corresponding to the search term based on the received smart push setting information.
