摘要: A memory control circuit is connected between a CPU and a memory. The memory control circuit comprises an access control circuit for controlling reading/writing access speed between the CPU and the memory. The memory control circuit further comprises a speed measurement circuit for writing predetermined data into a given address of the memory at a first speed when a speed measurement mode is specified. Thereafter the speed measurement circuit reads out the data from the given address of the memory at a second speed hat is different from the first speed. Finally, the speed measurement circuit measures an optimum speed ensuring a normal reading operation.

摘要: A method of controlling an ink jet recording apparatus ensures safety in replacing main tanks or the like and at the same time enables stable supply of ink from main tanks to sub-tanks. The apparatus includes a main tank having an information storage section and accommodated in a pressure tank, a sub-tank communicating with an ink jet head for storing ink, a tank-accommodating block for accommodating the main tank, and a control section capable of storing ink information. Valve control is performed in response to respective signals indicative of an ink shortage condition and an ink fill-up condition of the sub-tank, to thereby supply ink to the sub-tank. During operation of the apparatus, in response to a signal indication of opening of a door of the tank-accommodating block, the driving of a pressure source for pressurizing the pressure tank is stopped and the inside of the pressure tank is opened to the atmosphere. At the same time, ink information stored in the control section is written into the storage section of the main tank.

摘要: Embodiments relate to a non-volatile semiconductor memory device in which the interface state between the tunnel insulation layer and the floating gate and the interface state between the tunnel insulation layer and the control gate are lower, the operation characteristics are stable, and the data writing/erasing cycle life is long. A non-volatile semiconductor memory device (memory transistor) 400 may include a non-volatile semiconductor memory device with a split-gate structure having a source 16, a drain 14, a gate insulation layer 26, a floating gate 40, an intermediate insulation layer 50 that functions as a tunnel insulation layer, and a control gate 36. The intermediate insulation layer 50 is composed of at least three insulation layers 50a, 50b and 50c. The first and the second outermost layers 50a and 50c of the three insulation layers respectively contact the floating gate 40 and the control gate 36, and are composed of silicon oxide layers that are formed by a thermal oxidation method. A selective oxide insulation layer 42 is formed by a selective oxidation method on the floating gate 40. A silicon oxide layer 50b is formed by a CVD method between the first and the second outermost layers 50a and 50c.

摘要: A toroidal continuous variable transmission is disclosed in which no power is transmitted to toroidal speed changers during the engagement of a direct clutch. The toroidal continuous variable transmission is constructed such that the engagement of the direct clutch causes an input shaft to connect drivingly with an output shaft through a planetary gear system whereby the power may be transmitted from the input shaft to the output shaft. The release of the forward clutch makes reverse means freewheeling so that no load is applied to output disks. As a result, none of the input disks are subjected to the thrust force at the loading cam, regardless of the rotation of the input shaft. Therefore, although the toroidal speed changers may make only the idling in unison with the input shaft, none of the input disks are forcibly urged against the power rollers.

摘要: A card includes a magnetic track portion, a first bar code area, and a second bar code area. Value information representing a prepaid amount and management information for card management are magnetically recorded in the magnetic track portion. The first bar code area is formed parallel to the magnetic track portion at a position not overlapping the magnetic track portion. The first bar code area is recorded with a first bar code representing the value information. The second bar code area is formed in a direction perpendicular to the first bar code area at a position not overlapping the first bar code area. The second bar code area is printed with a second bar code representing the management information. A method of checking this card is also disclosed.
