    摘要: The present invention relates to a transparent electro-conductive film comprising an optical transparent polymer film and a transparent electro-conductive thin film formed on at least one principal surface of the above polymer film. The polymer film contains 1 to 20% by weight of hydrophobic resin particles such as infusible silicone resin particles having an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 10 .mu.m. The hydrophobic resin particles improve moisture permeability and suppress water permeation of the transparent electro-conductive film without any adverse effects on properties such as transparency. Also, a AC powder type EL panel and a liquid crystal display of the present invention have the above transparent electro-conductive films as a transparent electrode and a base thereof. Therefore, lower cost is achieved and a life is made longer.

    摘要: A contact type image sensor is disclosed, wherein an illumination source having a thin film light emitting element is opposed to a sensor section having thin film photo sensitive elements, a transparent substrate being disposed therebetween. The thin film light emitting element is so-called an organic thin film EL element, which comprises an anode, a hole transport thin film, an electron transport organic fluorescent thin film, and a cathode. Since the organic thin film EL element can be driven at a low DC voltage, it decrease the fluctuation of the intensity of the illumination light, resulting in remarkably imprving the reading accuracy of an image. In addition, the thin film light emitting element can be operated with a small amount of power. Moreover, it can be thinly structured.

    摘要: An AC power type EL panel includes an AC power type EL element, thermoplastic adhesive layers formed on all surfaces of the AC power type EL element, and a pair of protective films adhered to cover substantially the entire surfaces of the the thermoplastic adhesive layers and having end portions to be fused to each other to seal the AC power type EL element. A thickness ratio of the protective film to the thermoplastic adhesive layer is within the range of 5:1 to 2:1. Since the thermocompression-bonded end portions of the thermoplastic adhesive layers having poor moisture barrier properties are not exposed between the protective films at the end portions of the AC power type EL panel, penetration of external moisture into the panel can be effectively prevented.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a shadow mask by making use of a coating apparatus, wherein a gravure roll 20 mm to 60 mm in diameter is disposed below a metallic thin plate and any supporting member is not disposed at an opposite side portion of the metallic thin plate to be contacted with the gravure roll. An etching resistant liquid is fed onto the gravure roll being rotated in a direction opposite to that of the metallic thin plate and at a peripheral speed of 4 to 25 times as high as that of a feeding speed of the metallic thin plate, and an excessive portion of the etching resistant liquid is wiped away by the doctor blade before the etching resistant liquid is transferred to the metallic thin plate thereby to form an etching resistant layer on the metallic thin plate.

    摘要: An AC powder type EL panel includes an AC powder type EL element, thermoplastic adhesive layers formed on all surfaces of the AC powder type EL element, and a pair of protective films adhered to cover substantially the entire surfaces of the thermoplastic adhesive layers and having end portions to be fused to each other to seal the AC powder type EL element.
