摘要: A motor-driven compressor includes a compression mechanism, an electric motor, a compressor housing, a conductive member, a terminal base, an insulating member, a connection terminal, a wire assembly, a terminal housing, first and second holes formed through the terminal housing and first and second seal members. The conductive member extends from the inside to the outside of the compressor housing and connected electrically to the connection terminal at a terminal connection. The wire assembly has a core wire connecting electrically between the connecting terminal and the electric motor, and an insulator covering the core wire. The terminal housing disposed in the compressor housing covers the terminal connection. The wire assembly has an insulating tube covering the insulator, wherein both ends of the insulating tube are opened for communicating with the inside and the outside of the terminal housing through a clearance formed between the insulating tube and the insulator.

摘要: The battery system is provided with a battery 1 that can be recharged, a fuse 8 connected to the battery 1 that blows with excessive current flow, relays 2 connected to the output-side of the battery 1, and a current cut-off circuit 4 that detects excessive battery 1 current and controls the relays 2. The current cut-off circuit 4 detects excessive battery 1 current, and is provided with a timer section 24 that designates a time delay until the relays 2 are switched from ON to OFF. For the delay time of the timer section 24, the fusing current of the fuse 8 is set lower than the maximum cut-off current of the relays 2 and higher than the maximum allowable battery 1 charging and discharging current. In a situation where excessive current greater than the maximum cut-off current of the relays 2 flows through the battery 1, the fuse 8 is blown during the timer 24 delay time, and the current cut-off circuit 4 switches the relays 2 from ON to OFF when the delay time has elapsed.

摘要: A battery pack having a plurality of battery cells (10) connected in series and/or parallel. The battery pack is provided with a plurality of battery cells (10), each encased in a rectangular external case, and a plurality of separators (20) with electrical and heat insulating properties covering the outside of each battery cell external case excluding electrode terminals (12). Each separator (20) is disposed so as to intervene between adjacent battery cells (10) putting the external cases of those battery cells (10) in contact with both sides of the separator (20). With the external case of each battery cell (10) covered by separators (20) while exposing electrode terminals (12), the electrode terminals (12) are connected together. As a result, excluding required regions, the battery cells (10) can be enclosed and unintended events such as short circuits can be effectively prevented.

摘要: The present provides a leakage detection circuit for an electric vehicle, and so on, capable of calculating a leakage resistance. The leakage detection circuit for an electric vehicle detects a current Ig11(t1) that flows in leakage resistances Ra and Rb when one leakage detection switch SW1 is closed at t1 and the other leakage detection switch SW2 is opened, and detects a current Ig12(t2) when the switch SW1 is opened at t2 and the switch SW2 is closed. In addition, the circuit detects voltages Vl11(t1, t2) and Vl12(t1, t2) of portions where these leakage detection resistances Ra are connected. A combined value Rl of the leakage resistances is calculated by a leakage calculator based on the following equation 34 R l = R a V l12 ⁡ ( t 2 ) V g11 ⁡ ( t 2 ) - V g12 ⁡ ( t 2 ) - V l11 ⁡ ( t 1 ) V g11 ⁡ ( t 1 ) - V g12 ⁡ ( t 1 ) - ( R a + R b ) . 摘要: The car power source apparatus switches a pair of contactors (driving battery relays) connected to positive and negative output sides of a driving battery via a switching circuit with an auxiliary battery as power supply. The switching circuit is provided with a voltage detection circuit to detect auxiliary battery voltage, a series switching circuit to connect coils of the pair of contactors in series and switch both contactor contacts on, and a parallel switching circuit to connect coils of the pair of contactors in parallel and switch both contactor contacts on. When auxiliary battery voltage is higher than a set voltage, it connects the pair of contactor coils in series to switch the contacts on via the series switching circuit, and when auxiliary battery voltage is lower than a set voltage, it connects the pair of contactor coils in parallel to switch the contacts on via the parallel switching circuit.
