The filter circulates a gas between an interior and the exterior of its enclosure. The enclosure includes a first ventilation path for circulating the gas from the exterior to the filter, and a second ventilation path for circulating the gas from the filter to the exterior. In addition, a method of inspecting the filter and disk drive is disclosed. The method includes a compressing and decompressing step of compressing and decompressing the inside of the enclosure, a measuring step of measuring pressure in the enclosure, and a judging step of judging whether attachment of the filter is adequate on the basis of a value of the pressure measured.

With the metal plate placed in the cavity, the heat insulating layer is held in contact with the dies, while the opposite or second surface is partially exposed to the cavity. The injected molten metal properly fills the cavity from end to end since its heat is not conducted unduly to the dies via the metal plate.

According to a blood plasma collection tool of the present invention, a phenomenon that blood cells in blood spontaneously precipitate due to an effect of gravitational force takes place in the very narrow microspace (separation part) having the very narrow depth in the direction of gravitational force of not greater than 1 mm, and the overflow channel functions as a dam against the separation part so that the blood plasma separated out as supernatant fluid can overflow beyond the overflow channel, whereby the blood cells separated out can be prevented from entering the collection part. Therefore, blood plasma can be collected by accurately and readily separating blood plasma and blood cells in a small amount of blood from each other in a short time, using a small tool having a simple structure.
