    摘要: An integrated hydraulic transaxle (IHT) comprises a hydrostatic transmission (HST), an axle driven by the HST, and a housing incorporating the HST and the axle. The HST includes a variable displacement hydraulic pump driven by a prime mover, and a hydraulic motor fluidly connected to the hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump has a trunnion type movable swash plate. The internal displacement of the hydraulic motor is larger than the internal displacement of the hydraulic pump so as to increase the hydraulic deceleration activity of the HST. In the IHT, a mechanical deceleration drive train is interposed between the hydraulic motor and the axle. The mechanical deceleration activity of the mechanical deceleration drive train is reduced so far as the increase of the hydraulic deceleration activity of the HST.

Accordingly, the gear part can be formed from a high strength material and the support part can be formed from a lower cost material.

    摘要: A vehicle comprises a vehicle frame, a prime mover mounted on the vehicle frame, a laterally turnable wheel disposed at one side of the vehicle frame, a pair of drive wheels disposed at the other side of the vehicle frame, a steering operation device, a traveling operation device for setting the traveling speed and direction of the vehicle, and a pair of transmissions for controlling the rotary speed and direction of the respective drive wheels. The transmissions are operationally connected with the steering operation device so as to create a difference of rotary speed between the drive wheels according to operation of the steering operation device. The transmissions are operationally connected with the traveling operation device so as to drive the drive wheels in a common rotary direction from their stationary state according to operation of the traveling operation device. A clutch is interposed between the transmissions so as to connect the drive wheels with each other when the steering operation device is set in a straight traveling position. Based on setting of a switching device for switching the traveling direction of the vehicle between forward and rearward, a reverser decides the rotational direction of the drive wheels.

    摘要: A differential gear assembly includes a disc-shaped input gear receiving drive force and having a central portion, an outer portion around the central portion, and one or more open space portions formed between the central portion and the outer portion. A pair of output shafts extend opposite each other along the axis of the input gear and one end of each of the output shafts is loosely fitted in a central bore formed in the central portion of the input gear. A pair of side bevel gears is provided each of which is fixedly attached near the end of each output shaft closer to the input gear. One or more support shafts extend radially from the central portion into the open space portions of the input gear. One or more bevel pinions is rotatably supported on the one or more support shafts, respectively, to mesh with the pair of side bevel gears. A friction mechanism is located in at least one of one or more open space portions that permits the bevel pinion to rotate with rotational resistance. With this construction, since it is possible to provide a limited slip effect without using a casing-shaped ring gear, the resulting assembly can be made compact and less costly.

    摘要: An axle driving apparatus which houses a hydraulic transmission and axles in an axle casing. A pump shaft projects outwardly from the axle casing for inputting engine power. A power take-off shaft, connected in association with the pump shaft, is juxtaposed with the pump shaft in the axle casing, whereby there is no need to separately provide a power take-off route from the engine to the hydraulic transmission. A power transmission route from the engine to the hydraulic transmission is also used as a power take-off route, thereby enabling the power take-off shaft to be driven. The power take-off shaft is juxtaposed in the vicinity of the axle casing to simplify power transmission from the power take-off shaft to a working machine.

    摘要: In a transmission comprising a plurality of freely rotatable gears (11F.sub.1 -11F.sub.6) on a transmission shaft (10), each of shift keys (13) slidably disposed within the shaft is connected pivotally to a shift collar (14) using a pin (15). The collar includes a diameter-reduced cylindrical extension (18) having therein slots (18a) through which base end projections (17) of the keys extend radially outwardly of the shaft. The shift keys are biased to pivot for a selective gear-coupling operation by coned disk springs (19) which are disposed on the cylindrical extension and between the collar and the projections.The disk springs (19) which do not require an enlargement of the outer diameter of shift collar (14) effect a large biasing force upon shift keys (13) for the gear-coupling operation. Further, the disk springs mounted on the cylindrical extension (18) do not cause, when the collar is shifted, a rubbing engagement with the shaft (10) so that a lightness of the shifting operation is assured.
