摘要: In order to enhance accuracy of determination as to whether an object has contacted a screen and to enhance accuracy of calculation of a coordinate position of the object, edges of an imaged image are detected by an edge detection circuit 76, and by using the edges, it is determined by a contact determination circuit 77 whether or not the object has contacted the screen. Moreover, in order to appropriately control sensitivity of optical sensors in response to external light, by a calibration circuit 93, a drive condition of the optical sensors is changed based on output values of the optical sensors, which are varied in response to the external light.

摘要: The semiconductor integrated circuit includes a clock generating section having a digital control signal generating part operable to generate a clock signal and a digital control part. The clock generating section further includes a phase-frequency comparator and a control register. The comparator is supplied with a reference signal CLKin and a feedback signal. The control register is supplied with an output signal of the comparator, and stores two or larger bits of digital control information. The clock generating section further includes a control data storing circuit for previously storing sets of initial set data for lock operations. In response to operation select information, initial set data are stored at upper bit of the control register from the control data storing circuit. Thus, it becomes possible to reduce the number of steps to store control information in a register for digitally controlling the clock signal generating part.

摘要: An image processing method is applied for recording an image on a recording medium using a plurality of color materials including a chromatic material and an achromatic material. A total amount of recording of the chromatic material is smaller than a total amount of recording of the achromatic material, and a plurality of monochrome modes including a first monochrome mode and a second monochrome mode are provided, the total amount of recording of the chromatic material being different for each of the monochrome modes. The image processing method includes adjusting the amount of recording of the achromatic material so that a recording density of an image recorded in the first monochrome mode and a recording density of an image recorded in the second monochrome mode become equivalent to each other with respect to the same luminance signal.

摘要: This invention is directed to an image reading apparatus. In the apparatus, reading an original by irradiating it with light of three primary colors, respectively, and by receiving the reflected light is performed as follows. More specifically, an operation mode is designated, and conditions used to perform image reading are set in accordance with the designated mode. Under the set conditions, the image reading is performed according to a method of irradiating an original sequentially with beams of the three primary colors and reading the beams reflected by the original. Alternatively, under the set conditions, image reading is performed according to a method of irradiating an original simultaneously with beams of two primary colors in each of three different combinations of the three primary colors and reading the beams reflected by the original. Instead, image reading is executed twice according to these two methods.

摘要: According to one embodiment, an display processing apparatus includes an operation receiver, a relation calculator, a display information generator, a display controller, and a scrolling module. The operation receiver receives selection of a key content. The relation calculator calculates relation between the key content and each of second contents. The display information generator generates first display information of the key content and second display information of the second contents. The display controller displays list information in which pieces of the second display information are arranged to form concentric polygons around the first display information along directions of operation such that second display information of second content with higher relation is closer to the first display information. The scrolling module scrolls, in response to user operation, the list information. The display controller maintains the first display information in the display range.
