    摘要: A variable displacement pump includes a pump structural member configured to change volumes of a plurality of working chambers by rotation of a rotor, so as to introduce oil through an inlet port into the working chambers and to discharge the oil through a discharge port, and further configured to oscillate a cam ring by a discharge pressure introduced into a control oil chamber. A first coil spring is provided to force the cam ring in a direction for increasing of a rate of change of the working-chamber volume. A second coil spring is provided to force the cam ring in a direction for decreasing of the rate of change of the working-chamber volume. The first and second coil springs are laid out on both sides of an arm portion of the cam ring in a manner so as to be opposed to each other.

The biasing force of the first biasing member is set such that before the moveable member is displaced against the biasing force of the first biasing member, the valve timing control device is shifted to a release state in which an open-and-closure timing of an engine valve is variably controlled.

    摘要: This invention relates to a method of producing a high-melting powder of 2,2-bis�4'-(2",3"-dibromopropoxy)-3',5'-dibromophenyl!propane characterized by comprising a step of adding water to a solution of 2,2-bis�4'-(2",3"-dibromopropoxy)-3',5'-dibromophenyl!-propane in an organic solvent in the presence of a surfactant to give a water-in-oil emulsion and a step of removing the organic solvent from the emulsion in the presence of a crystal nucleus to induce crystallization to give an aqueous dispersion of 2,2-bis�4'-(2",3"-dibromopropoxy)-3',5'-dibromophenyl!propane. In accordance with this invention, crystallization is carried out in the state of an emulsion under assistance of a surfactant so that an ordinary stirrer can be used in production without resort to any special high-shear stirring equipment. Moreover, since a high-melting grade of 2,2-bis�4'-(2",3"-dibromopropoxy)-3',5'-dibromophenyl!propane is obtained as an aqueous dispersion, workability and safety in the subsequent processing are improved.

    摘要: A pressure relief valve for an oil pump of an automotive internal combustion engine. The pressure relief valve comprises a wall defining thereinside a valve accommodating bore. The wall is formed with a plurality of pressure relief holes including first and second pressure relief holes through which oil in the valve accommodating bore is releasable to an outside of the valve accommodating bore.
