摘要： A digital television (DTV) transmitter and a method of coding data in the DTV transmitter method are disclosed. A pre-processor pre-processes the enhanced data by coding the enhanced data for forward error correction (FEC) and expanding the FEC-coded enhanced data. A data formatter generates one or more groups of enhanced data packets, each enhanced data packet including the pre-processed enhanced data. And, a packet multiplexer generates at least one burst of enhanced data by multiplexing the one or more groups of enhanced data packets. Herein, each burst of enhanced data includes at least one group of enhanced data packets. The DTV transmitter may further include a scheduler which generates first and second control signals to control operations of the data formatter and the packet multiplexer, respectively.

摘要： A pre-processor pre-processes enhanced data packets by coding the enhanced data packets for forward error correction (FEC) and expanding the FEC-coded data packets. A data formatter adds first null data into first place holders within each pre-processed enhanced data packet. A first multiplexer multiplexes the main data packets with the enhanced data packets having the first null data. A holder inserter inserts second null data into second place holders within an enhanced data packet outputted from the first multiplexer. A data interleaver replaces the second null data with parity data. A data generator generates at least one known data sequence. A symbol processor replaces the first null data included in an output of the data interleaver with the known data sequence(s). A non-systematic RS encoder generates the parity data by performing non-systematic RS-coding on an output of the symbol processor, and provides the parity data to the data interleaver.

A vehicle pre-heater includes a plurality of such PTC rod assemblies in parallel to one another, with heat radiation fin assemblies coupled in close contact with both surfaces of each of the PTC rod assemblies, a pair of frames coupled to outer side surfaces of the outermost heat radiation fin assemblies, and first and second housings coupled to both longitudinal ends of a combination of the PTC rod assemblies, the heat radiation fin assemblies and the frames. Housing terminals are provided in the housings and serve as cathode terminals.

摘要： Provided is a carrier recovery apparatus in a vestigial sideband modulation (VSB) type digital television (DTV) receiver. The carrier recovery apparatus dynamically controls a sign determination level which is a reference for determining a sign of an I signal in a sign extractor. Therefore, the carrier recover apparatus can eliminate unnecessary sign extraction caused by zero-crossing which is generated when the receiver receives a pilot signal weaken by a channel ghost, and improves the frequency lock performance in the receiver. Specially, the carrier recover apparatus. can effectively improve the frequency lock performance when comparatively large pattern jitter is existed in a low pass signal caused by a ghost signal produces a long delay time.
