摘要： A method is provided for the regeneration of an individual coconut plantlet. It comprises culturing a tissue explant of an undifferentiated male flower of a coconut tree in a culture medium, which contains 10-50 ppm of an auxin, 0.1-3% of a polysaccharide produced by a bacterium of Pseudomonas and 0.05-1% of activated carbon, in a dark place until a shoot-like structure appears; and then culturing under exposure to light of 3,000-20,000 luxes while repeating its subculture in a fresh culture medium.

摘要： A novel acidic heteropolysaccharide which comprises as its structural units arabinose, mannose, galactose, glucuronic acid, and xylose, at a specific ratio. The polysaccharide can be prepared by culturing a callus induced from a plant belonging to the genus Polianthes L. in a culture medium containing plant hormones. The polysaccharide can be used as a component of agents for external application and detergents, and provides good moisturizing effects and a smooth, satisfying feeling upon use. When formulated in detergents, they produce remarkable improvement in a clean, rich feeling upon use.

摘要： A 7.beta.-acylamino-7.alpha.-alkoxycephalosporin is prepared by reacting a 7-acylaminocephalosporin with a halogenating agent to give an iminohalide, reacting the latter compound with a base to give a keteneimine, reacting the latter compound with a halogen to give an .alpha.-halogeno iminohalide, reacting the latter compound with an alkali metal alkoxide and consecutively either subjecting the resulting compound to hydrolysis, or reacting the resulting compound with an acid or a halogenosilyl compound followed by treating the resulting compound with water.The 7.beta.-acylamino-7.alpha.-alkoxycephalosporin is useful as an antibacterial agent.

The rotation body includes a frame which has a base body portion, a side portion being orthogonal to a rotation axis and having a first through hole and a cut portion, and a longer side portion having an extending portion and extending along the rotation axis. The extending portion is engaged with the cut portion and has a protruding portion protruding outwardly of the side portion from a tip end side thereof. The fixed body includes: a bracket having a base portion, a first and a second side portions, a superimposed portion extending from the second side portion so as to be overlapped with the first side portion, and an opening passing through the first side portion and the superimposed portion; and a stud inserted through the opening and rotatably securing the frame to the bracket. The protruding portion is contacted with the superimposed portion at a predetermined angle to regulate the rotation of the rotation body.
