    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal layer interposed between first and second substrates and set in vertical alignment (VA); a switching element provided on the first substrate; a connection electrode connected to the switching element; a first reflection film provided above the switching element; a first pixel electrode provided above the first reflection film and overlapping the first reflection film; a second pixel electrode located adjacent to the first pixel electrode; first and second contacts which connect the first and second pixel electrodes to the connection electrode; a first thickness adjusting layer provided on the second substrate and overlapping the first reflection film; a common electrode provided on the second substrate and the first thickness adjusting layer; and first and second protrusions provided on the common electrode and corresponding to the first and second pixel electrodes.

    Abstract: Provided is an organic EL display device that exhibits high luminance and high color reproducibility and has a color filter which exhibits excellent pixel adhesion and excellent pixel linearity in a development step even in a case of high colorant concentration. This organic EL display device comprises an organic EL layer and a color filter on a silicon substrate in which a driving element is formed. The color filter has pixels including specific red, green, and blue pixels. Each of the pixels is a cured product of a photosensitive coloring composition which contains a specific colorant (A), a photopolymerizable monomer (B), a photopolymerization initiator (C), and a resin (D). The photopolymerizable monomer (B) includes a compound represented by formula (1), and the photopolymerization initiator (C) includes an oxime ester photopolymerization initiator. Formula (1): [CH2═CHC(═O)—(OCmH2m)n—OCH2]3—CCH2CH3 (Signs in formula (1) are according to those described in the description.)

    Abstract: A multilayer wiring board that improves the reliability of connection at a via hole connection portion, and a method for producing the multilayer wiring board. In a multilayer wiring board comprising a plurality of metal wiring layers alternately laminated with insulating layers interposed therebetween are electrically connected to each other via a via hole plated layer, wherein a dissimilar metallic layer, made from material different from that of the metal wiring layers, is interposed between each of the metal wiring layers on the bottom surface of the via hole and the via hole plated layer, and the dissimilar metallic layer interposed between the each of the metal wiring layers on the bottom surface of the via hole and the via hole plated layer is arranged in a concave shape on the surface of the concave portion formed in the metal wiring layer on the bottom surface of the via hole.

    Abstract: A range imaging device includes a light source unit, a light-receiving unit that includes pixel driving circuit and a pixel including a photoelectric conversion element and charge storage units, a storage unit that stores table information in which electric charge ratios are associated with corresponding distances to an object, and a range image processing unit that determines a measured distance to an object using the table information and the amounts of electric charge accumulated in the charge storage units. The range image processing unit calculates the electric charge ratio based on the amounts of electric charge accumulated in the charge storage units, acquires the corresponding distance associated with the calculated electric charge ratio from the table information, and determines the measured distance using the acquired corresponding distance.
