    摘要: An apparatus for manufacturing a constant velocity joint boot includes a molding mold that injection-molds a molded body using an inner mold and outer molds. The inner mold has a configuration in which split molds are disposed radially along an outer circumferential surface of a core shaft extending vertically. The manufacturing apparatus has rod-like support members including distal end portions and step surfaces. The distal end portions are inserted into concave portions formed in extension portions of the split molds so that the split molds are supported. The step surfaces abut against the outer circumferential surfaces of the extension portions in the state where the split molds are supported by the distal end portions.

The core insert defines a ring seat on a medial portion thereof upon which the core ring may be seated, in use, in cooperation with a mounting interface thereon. The split insert defines a pocket that extends coaxially through a second projecting portion thereof within which to receive a projecting portion of the core ring. The core ring and the split insert being further configured to define a core ring-to-split insert parting line that is within the pocket of the split insert. The core ring further defines a first split insert seat for receiving the second projecting portion of the split insert.

    摘要: A method of molding a boot for a constant velocity joint includes: molding a compact by injection molding; raising split dies of an inner die so as to separate the split dies from a set ring; raising a core shaft of the inner die so as to separate the core shaft from the split dies; separating each of the split dies from the compact; introducing a lower end portion of the separated split die into the set ring along an engaging surface; and inserting a lower end portion of the core shaft through the set ring from above the set ring, and pressing upper end portions of the split dies downward by a protruding portion at an upper end portion of the core shaft so that the lower end portions of the split dies are engaged with the engaging surface and the split dies are brought into close contact.

    摘要: The disclosure relates to an injection molding module including a mold unit and a slider that is disposed in the mold unit and that cooperates with the mold unit to define a cavity and a cooling runner in spacial communication with the cavity. The cooling runner includes a main section that is formed with an inlet, and a tapering section that extends from the main section in a lengthwise direction and that is formed with an outlet in spatial communication with the cavity. The inlet has an axial direction that is not parallel with the lengthwise direction, thereby the plastic material having a flow direction that is changed when a plastic material is fed into the cooling runner through the inlet.

    摘要: A nozzle is provided having a low precipitation rate and uniform fluid distribution to a desired arcuate span of coverage. The nozzle has an inflow port having a shape corresponding to the desired arc of coverage and a size for effecting a low precipitation rate. The nozzle also has a deflector surface with a water distribution profile including ribs for subdividing the fluid into multiple sets of fluid streams. There are at least two fluid streams for distant and close-in irrigation to provide relatively uniform distribution and coverage. The nozzle may be a unitary, one-piece, molded nozzle body including a mounting portion, an inflow port, and a deflector portion. There is also provided a mold assembly and method for forming a unitary, one piece nozzle body.
