Abstract:
An overcap for a volatile material dispenser includes a housing adapted to be mounted on a container. The container has a valve stem with a discharge end. The overcap includes a valve-connecting portion adapted to engage the valve stem and a fixture that extends from the valve-connecting portion. The overcap further includes a trigger attached to the housing by a hinge that is disposed at or below a plane formed by the fixture. A contact portion is disposed in the trigger for interacting with the fixture and applying pressure to the valve-connecting portion to actuate the valve stem.
Abstract:
Rotating nozzle for dispensing pressurised fluids contained in a spray can (1) provided with a dispensing valve (2) which can be actuated in the axial direction (X-X) for opening/closing thereof, said nozzle comprising a front dispensing part (260) movable rotationally and axially fixed to a part (230) for coupling with the spray can (1), said coupling part being in turn movable in terms of displacement and idle rotationally.
Abstract:
A fluid dispensing device for dispensing a fluid form medicament formulation having a viscosity of from 10 to 2000 mPa·s. is disclosed and comprises a housing and a fluid discharge device. The fluid discharge device is arranged to be actuated by one or more levers so as to apply a force to the fluid discharge device which is used to move a container forming part of the fluid discharge device along a longitudinal axis of the fluid discharge device to cause actuation of a pump forming part of the fluid discharge device. A pre-load means is used to prevent actuation of the pump until a pre-determined force is applied to each lever of sufficient magnitude to guarantee the production of a well developed efficient spray from the fluid dispensing device.
Abstract:
A dispensing assembly is provided for a container of fluent material. A hand-operable dispenser cartridge is adapted to be mounted to the container. An actuator with a lateral projection, which may be a nozzle or spout, is mounted on the cartridge. A locking sleeve is mounted around the cartridge and has an upper abutment edge and a recess. The locking sleeve can be rotated between a first rotated position preventing actuation of the dispenser and a second rotated position permitting actuation of the dispenser.
Abstract:
A dispensing apparatus (10) for dispensing a product from a container (12) includes: a product chamber within the container (12); a valve (14) adjacent to the product chamber; a hinge assembly secured to the opening of the container and to which is connected a nozzle assembly (20); and a lever (18) attached by means of the hinge assembly. The nozzle assembly (20) is rotatable between open and closed positions and includes an actuator portion provided with a cam surface (96, 98) which co-operates with a bearing portion (100) on the lever (18) such that, when the nozzle assembly (20) is in the open position, operation of the lever (18) causes movement of the actuator portion to open the valve (14) and permit flow of the product out of the container (12).
Abstract:
A device for dispensing a product onto a product sampler may comprise a dispensing member configured to be connected to a product receptacle and at least one outlet orifice in flow communication with the dispensing member. The device may also comprise an actuator element configured to actuate the dispensing member and a locking element. The locking element may have a first position in which the dispensing member cannot be actuated and a second position in which the dispensing member can be actuated. Additionally, the locking element may move from the first position to the second position when the product sampler is placed in front of the at least one outlet orifice.
Abstract:
Described herein are one-component spray foam compositions having a low post post-expansion rate. Also described herein are methods of making and using one-component spray foam compositions having a low post-expansion rate. Also described herein are dispensers for dispensing the one-component spray foam compositions having a low post-expansion rate. Compositions and methods in accordance with the present disclosure are useful in a wide variety of applications, and are particularly useful in construction applications.
Abstract:
An adapter receives two separate fluids from a container having two separate fluid compartments and combines the fluids into a single fluid stream for delivery to a spray fluid dispenser. The adapter comprises a unitary housing having a first open end for fluid connection to the container and a second open end for fluid connection to the spray fluid dispenser. The housing defines a manifold forming a fluid passageway therein between the first end and the second end. The manifold includes two separate first conduits formed at the first end. Each of the first conduits is connected to a respective one of the fluid compartments. The manifold further includes a second conduit in fluid communication with the second end for delivery of the combined fluids to the spray fluid dispenser. The first conduits are each in fluid communication with the second conduit.
