Abstract: A positioning signal sending method and apparatus are provided. A first signal is generated, where duration of a first rising edge of the first signal is less than duration of a first falling edge, the duration of the first rising edge is duration of a rising edge of a main lobe waveform of the first signal, and the duration of the first falling edge is duration of a falling edge of the main lobe waveform of the first signal; and the first signal is sent. In embodiments of this application, rising time of a main lobe waveform of a signal generated is short, and shorter rising time of the main lobe waveform is more conducive to distinguishing two adjacent paths or identifying a first arrival path of a received signal.

Abstract: In an embodiment an ultra-wideband indoor real-time location system for determining positions of mobile tag devices within a localizing area includes a plurality of UWB signal transmitters located at preset positions and defining the localizing area, wherein the UWB signal transmitters are configured to operate with synchronized clocks and transmit UWB signals based on a UWB frame format, and wherein the UWB frame format includes unique information content for the UWB signal transmitter and at least one mobile tag device comprising a signal reception unit configured to receive the UWB signals, a time detection unit configured to derive respective arrival time points for the received UWB signals, an identification unit configured to derive the unique information content from the received UWB signals and a control unit configured to process the unique information content and the arrival time points for at least a subset of the UWB signal transmitters in a localizing algorithm to derive a position of the mobile tag device with respect to the subset of the UWB signal transmitters.

Abstract: A system can be used with a drone delivery service that facilitates a service delivery via at least one drone delivery device. The system includes a code generator configured to generate beacon data that identifies a subscriber. A beacon generator is configured to generate a wireless homing beacon that indicates the beacon data, wherein the wireless homing beacon is detectable by the at least one drone delivery device to facilitate the service delivery to the subscriber by the drone delivery device at a location selected by the subscriber and a network interface is configured to communicate via a network. The system receives delivery image data captured after the service delivery by the drone delivery device.

Abstract: A beacon transmitter including a wireless transceiver and an electronic controller coupled to the wireless transceiver. The electronic controller is configured to repeatedly transmit, via the wireless transceiver, a first beacon signal through a first number of transmission repetitions spaced at a first repeat interval, and receive an acknowledgement signal via the wireless transceiver. The electronic controller is also configured to stop transmission of the first beacon signal for a first predetermined amount of time based on receipt of the acknowledgement signal, determine that the first predetermined amount of time has expired, and resume repeatedly transmitting, via the wireless transceiver, the first beacon signal in response to determining that the predetermined amount of time has expired.

Abstract: The disclosure describes a real-time location system for tracking assets at a site. The system includes one or more tracking tags for carrying by or on the assets, one or more locating device nodes and a processing application. Each tracking tag includes a short-range radio frequency signal transmitter configured to transmit a beacon signal with unique identification information of the tracking tag. Each locating device node includes a signal receiver configured to receive the beacon signals at a received signal strength and a long-range radio frequency transmitter configured to transmit, using a spread spectrum, long-range modulation over a wide area network, locating signals including the unique identification information of the tracking tag and a received signal strength indicator representing the received signal strength. The processing application is configured to associate tracking tags and locating device nodes based upon the received signal strength indicator.

Abstract: In an embodiment a real-time location method includes sending, by a master beacon device and one or more beacon repeater devices, ultra-wideband beacon frames, wherein the ultra-wideband beacon frames are transmitted as interleaved pairs of ultra-wideband beacon frames, wherein each interleaved pair is sent either from the master beacon device or the one or more beacon repeater devices, wherein each interleaved pair includes a first ultra-wideband beacon frame and a second ultra-wideband beacon frame, and wherein, for each interleaved pair, the first ultra-wideband beacon frame and the second ultra-wideband beacon frame are transmitted with a master time delay, receiving, by one or more tag devices, at least one of the interleaved pairs of ultra-wideband beacon frames, receiving, by the one or more beacon repeater devices, at least one of the interleaved pairs of ultra-wideband beacon frames, receiving, by one of a plurality of tag response receptor units, at least one of the interleaved pairs of ultra-wideband beacon frames, sending, by the one or more tag devices, ultra-wideband tag response frames and receiving, by the one of the plurality of tag response receptor units, at least one of the ultra-wideband tag response frames.

Abstract: Example systems, devices, media, and methods are described for tracking one or more movable objects and presenting virtual elements on a display in proximity to the tracked movable objects. One or more ultra-wideband (UWB) transmitters are mounted to each movable object in a physical environment including at least two synchronized UWB receivers. The receivers calculate a current location of each movable object. A plurality of portable electronic devices, including one or more eyewear devices, are paired with the receivers in a network. A localization application determines a current location of each eyewear device. A rendering application presents one or more virtual elements on a display as an overlay relative to the current movable object location and in relative proximity to the current eyewear location. The physical environment is represented by a static mesh. A time synchronized tracking application identifies moving items that are not coupled to a UWB transmitter. The rendering application presents the virtual elements on the display in accordance with the static mesh and the moving items.
