Abstract: An apparatus for forming wideband pseudo random noise signals includes a set of channels each comprising an NCO having a controlled frequency and phase and a PRN code generator, the NCO generating a strobe that is output to the PRN code generator. The PRN code generator forms a new sequence element of +1 or −1 in response to the strobe. The apparatus also comprises a first modulator having a plurality of weight coefficients, a plurality of multipliers each multiplying one of the weight coefficients, an adder outputting a sum of the plurality of multipliers output signals, and a mixer with a quadrature output signal multiplying the adder's output by sine and cosine of a low intermediate frequency. The apparatus also includes a processor controlling the set of channels, a transceiver module to receive and/or transmit quadrature signals, and an interface connecting the output of the mixer and the transceiver module.

Abstract: A method includes sending, by a master beacon device and one or more beacon repeater devices, ultra-wideband (UWB) beacon frames. The UWB beacon frames are transmitted as interleaved pairs of UWB beacon frames. Each interleaved pair includes a first UWB beacon frame and a second UWB beacon frame. For each interleaved pair, the first UWB beacon frame and the second UWB beacon frame are transmitted with a master time delay. The method further includes receiving, by one or more tag devices, at least one of the interleaved pairs of UWB beacon frames.

Abstract: A system can be used with a drone delivery service that facilitates a service delivery via at least one drone delivery device. The system includes a code generator configured to generate beacon data that identifies a subscriber. A beacon generator is configured to generate a wireless homing beacon that indicates the beacon data, wherein the wireless homing beacon is detectable by the at least one drone delivery device to facilitate the service delivery to the subscriber by the drone delivery device at a location selected by the subscriber and a network interface is configured to communicate via a network. The system receives delivery image data captured after the service delivery by the drone delivery device.

Abstract: A method can include, by operation of a user device, receiving beacon data via a wireless signal. Beacon data can include unencrypted data that includes a key identification (ID) corresponding to a private key/public key pair, a time value, and a location value. Beacon data can also include encrypted data that includes at least a beacon ID, a beacon time value, and a beacon location value. If the unencrypted time value is within a predetermined range of a current time value of the user device, the beacon data can be stored in a user record with a user ID. Periodically, the user record can be uploaded to a tracking system. Corresponding devices and systems are also disclosed.

Abstract: Example systems, devices, media, and methods for tracking movable objects and presenting virtual elements on a display in proximity to the movable objects. Ultra-wideband (UWB) transmitters are mounted to each movable object in an environment including at least two synchronized UWB receivers. The receivers calculate current locations of movable objects. Portable electronic devices, including eyewear devices, are paired with the receivers in a network. A localization application determines a current location of each eyewear device. A rendering application presents virtual elements on a display as an overlay relative to the current movable object location and in relative proximity to the current eyewear location. The physical environment is represented by a static mesh. A time synchronized tracking application identifies moving items that are not coupled to a UWB transmitter. The rendering application presents the virtual elements on the display in accordance with the static mesh and the moving items.
