摘要: A novel neural modeling framework Neural Transient Field (NeTF) is provided for non-line-of-sight (NLOS) imaging. NeTF recovers the 5D transient function in both spatial location and direction, and the training data input is parametrized on the spherical wave-fronts. A Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) algorithm is used to account for sparse and unbalanced sampling in NeTF.

The plurality of beam steering components are activated sequentially to multiplex the reflected pulse light from a plurality of field of views, and the reflected pulse light represents the pulse light reflected by at least one object.

摘要: A scanning lidar system includes a first lens having a first lens center and characterized by a first optical axis and a first surface of best focus, a second lens having a second lens center and characterized by a second optical axis, a platform separated from the first lens and the second lens along the first optical axis, and an array of laser sources mounted on the platform. Each laser source of the array of laser sources has an emission surface lying substantially at the first surface of best focus of the first lens and positioned at a respective laser position. The scanning lidar system further includes an array of photodetectors mounted on the platform. Each photodetector of the array of photodetectors is positioned at a respective photodetector position that is optically conjugate with a respective laser position of a corresponding laser source.

摘要: A LIDAR system may include: a first housing containing a processor configured to control a light source to enable light flux of the light source to vary over a scan of a field of view; a second housing located in a vehicle remote from the first housing, the second housing containing a controllable light deflector, and an actuator configured to move the light deflector; and a data conduit configured to interconnect the first housing and the second housing, the data conduit is associated with a forward path from the first housing to the second housing and a return path from the second housing to the first housing, wherein the data conduit is configured to cooperate with the processor and the actuator such that the forward path conveys signals for controlling the actuator and the return path conveys reflections signals indicative of light reflected from objects in the field of view.

摘要: An autonomous mobile device (AMD) may perform tasks within a physical space. The AMD may move over ramps, bumps, or navigate around obstacles. The AMD may have an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and distance sensors. The IMU provides tilt information indicative of the AMD being on a flat surface or a ramp. The distance sensors provide information on distances between the AMD and surrounding obstacles. Using IMU measurements, the AMD determines a first speed limit that is safe given the tilt of the AMD. Using the distance sensors, the AMD determines a second speed limit that is safe given a distance to an obstacle. The AMD determines a maximum speed based on the first and second speed limits. Based on the maximum speed, the AMD determines whether to adjust a current speed and by how much.

摘要: According to an embodiment, a distance measuring device measures a distance to the measured object base on light scattered on the measured object is detected. The distance measuring device includes an optical detector and a measurer. The optical detector detects the scattered light. The measurer has a sampler to sample a signal corresponding to an output signal of the optical detector every time when the light is emitted at a plurality of sampling time points and a storage to accumulate sampling values and store an accumulation value at each sampling time point. The measurer measures the distance based on a plurality of accumulation values at the sampling time points.

摘要: A method of operating a coordinate measurement device includes selecting an operating mode on the coordinate measurement device. A first light is emitted from at least one light source of the coordinate measurement device. At least two angles associated with the emitting of the first light are measured. A second light is received with an optical detector of the coordinate measurement device. The second light is a reflection of the first light off of at least one of the retroreflector and the surface. A first distance is determined based at least in part on a mode of the coordinate measurement device that is selected, the emitting of the first light, and the receiving of the second light. Three dimensional coordinates of a point in the environment is determined based on the measuring of the at least two angles and at least one of the first distance and the second distance.

摘要: In one example, a LIDAR device includes a light sources that emits light and a transmit lens that directs the emitted light to illuminate a region of an environment with a field-of-view defined by the transmit lens. The LIDAR device also includes a receive lens that focuses at least a portion of incoming light propagating from the illuminated region of the environment along a predefined optical path. The LIDAR device also includes an array of light detectors positioned along the predefined optical path. The LIDAR device also includes an offset light detector positioned outside the predefined optical path. The LIDAR device also includes a controller that determines whether collected sensor data from the array of light detectors includes data associated with another light source different than the light source of the device based on output from the offset light detector.
