Abstract: Systems and methods for deploying countermeasures against unauthorized scripts interfering with the rendering of content elements on information resources are provided herein. A computing device can receive an information resource including a content rendering verification script and a first content element. The computing device can execute the script. The computing device can render the first content element for display on the information resource in a first format. The computing device can determine that the first content element is not successfully displayed in the first format. The computing device can render the first content element for display on the information resource in a second format, responsive to the determination. The computing device can determine that the first content element is successfully displayed in the second format. The computing device can display a second content element of the information resource responsive to the determination.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a device determines a category of sensitive data processed by an application, based on annotations embedded into programming code of the application and protection bindings, which associate the category of sensitive data with one or more data types used by the application. The device computes, based on one or more data compliance constraints for the category of sensitive data, a set of one or more execution constraints for the application. The device identifies target infrastructure to execute a workload of the application that satisfies the set of one or more execution constraints. The device causes a deployment of the workload of the application for execution by the target infrastructure.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for integrating data from multiple computer-based communication platforms and dynamically adjusting search results for search queries received from each of the computer-based communication platforms in response to unique security settings is provided. Abstract: Apparatus and methods for root-level enforcement of quick response (“QR”) code validation are provided. The apparatus may include a QR code reader for receiving an instruction from a user to scan a QR code and transmitting a request to an operating system (“OS”) running on the apparatus to instruct a camera to capture an image. The apparatus may include an operating system configured to receive the image from the camera and store the image in a temporary cache. While the image is stored in the temporary cache, the operating system may transmit the image to a QR code validator to decode a QR code included in the image and execute a routine to validate a URL included in the QR code. The image may only be transmitted back to the QR code reader by the OS when the URL was validated by the routine.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) enforced blocklisting of harmful applications are described. In one embodiment, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include a processor and a BIOS coupled to the processor, the BIOS having program instructions that, upon execution, cause the IHS to download an Unsafe Application List (UAL) from an online source, and during a bootstrap process of the IHS, compare a plurality of Applications (Apps) installed on the IHS against a list of harmful applications included in a UAL. When a harmful application is found by the comparison, the instructions enforce one or more policies to restrict the harmful application from being executed on the IHS.

Abstract: A computer device, including at least a processor and a memory, can be configured to control process components on a computer device. An agent can intercept a request to instantiate a new process component in a user account of a logged-in user. The request can originate on the computing device from an instance of a particular process component amongst a set of process components. The user account can be assigned default user privileges by a privilege access management service. The agent can determine whether to permit the intercepted request. The agent can permit the intercepted request if the relationship is validated and if a trusted owner is identified amongst the set of identified owners.
