摘要: A bearing structure includes: a housing; a bearing hole formed in the housing; a bearing, which is provided in the bearing hole, and is configured to axially support a shaft having one end provided with a turbine impeller; a space, which is formed in the housing, and is positioned between the impeller and the bearing hole; a passage, which communicates with the space, and extends to a vertically lower side of the bearing hole; a communication opening portion, which allows the passage and the bearing hole to communicate with each other; and a lower wall portion, which is provided in a lower portion including a portion directly below an axis of the shaft between the passage and the bearing hole, and has an inner wall surface being opposed to the shaft and having a curved surface shape with a curvature center positioned on the shaft side.

摘要: A plain bearing assembly of a rotational element on a bearing bolt includes a bearing bolt, a bearing sleeve, which is non-rotatably mounted on said bolt and which comprises a first radial bearing surface formed on its outer periphery, and a rotational element which is rotatably mounted on the bearing sleeve and which is mounted on the first radial bearing surface via a second radial bearing surface in such a way that it can slide. Axial bearing washers, which project radially beyond the bearing sleeve, are secured to both end faces of the rotational elements. The washers run against axial bearing surfaces of the bearing sleeve, and axial flanks of the bearing sleeve form axial bearing surfaces for the axial bearing washers.

At least two connection pieces (33, 34, 37, 38) and at least two corresponding notches (23, 24, 27, 28) are disposed therein in an outer region in the circumferential direction, wherein the contact surfaces (40, 42) of the at least two connection pieces (33, 34, 37, 38) and the at least two notches (23, 24, 27, 28) are disposed parallel to each other.

摘要: A method for repairing an air cycle machine compressor housing includes removing a journal bearing support sleeve in an air cycle machine compressor housing, positioning a cylindrical insert within the air cycle machine compressor housing, wherein the cylindrical insert has an outer diameter greater than an outer diameter of at least one portion of the removed journal bearing support sleeve, an inner diameter less than an inner diameter of at least one portion of the removed journal bearing support sleeve, and a length greater than a length of the removed journal bearing support sleeve, welding the cylindrical insert to the air cycle machine compressor housing, and machining the welded cylindrical insert to form a replacement journal bearing support sleeve.

摘要: The present invention relates to hydrodynamic bearings, X-ray tubes, X-ray systems, and a method of manufacturing a hydrodynamic bearing for an X-ray tube. The rotor of a hydrodynamic bearing is supported, in steady-state operation, by the pressure of lubricant which is pumped through grooves in the rotor. When the rotor is speeding up or slowing down, the pumping force will not be sufficient to lift the rotor clear of a stationary bushing, and damage, caused by direct contact of the metal surfaces of the bearing, can occur. Providing special coatings on the bearing surfaces can ameliorate this effect.

The disclosed tilting pad bearing assemblies and apparatuses may be employed in downhole motors of a subterranean drilling system or other mechanical systems. In an embodiment, a bearing assembly or apparatus includes a support ring and a plurality of tilting pads. Each tilting pad is tilted and/or tiltably secured relative to the support ring. In some embodiments, one or more of the tilting pads include a plurality of superhard bearing segments assembled to form a superhard bearing surface. One or more seams may be positioned between adjacent superhard bearing segments of the superhard bearing segments. In other embodiments, one or more of the tilting pads may include at least one or only one superhard bearing segment, such as a polycrystalline diamond bearing segment.

摘要: There is provided a resin composition for a machinable liner of a sliding member. An ultraviolet curable resin composition for a self-lubricating liner contains a (meth)acrylate compound having an isocyanuric acid ring represented by the following formula and PTFE as a solid lubricant. In the formula (1), X is a group which contains an acryloyl group and is composed only of C, H, and O. Y and Z are groups each composed only of C, H, and O. PTFE is contained in an amount of 10 to 50% by weight with respect to a total amount of the ultraviolet curable resin composition. The ultraviolet curable resin composition is suitable for a self-lubricating liner 24 of a spherical bearing 20 having an outer race 22 and an inner race 26.

摘要: The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for a fluid dynamic bearing device, the method involving: forming an axial clearance 14 having a clearance width δ equal to a total amount of clearance widths of two thrust bearing clearances δ1, δ2 between a second bearing surface C of a bearing member 22 fixed to an outer periphery of a shaft member 21 and a sealing member 9; relatively moving the shaft member 21, the shaft member 22, and the sealing member 9 with respect to a housing 7 while the clearance width δ of the axial clearance 14 is maintained after forming the axial clearance 14; and fixing the sealing member 9 to the housing 7 at a time when a first thrust bearing surface B of the bearing member 22 comes into contact with a bottom surface 7b of the housing 7.
