Abstract: A data transmission method is applied to a decoding end of a network audio and video matrix system, and the decoding end is in communication connection with an encoding end and several secondary decoding ends. The data transmission method comprises: acquiring request data signaling from a secondary decoding end, wherein the request data signaling comprises a distribution data signaling receiving address of the secondary decoding end; determining whether a currently occupied distribution capability value reaches a maximum distribution capability value; and if yes, sending a secondary distribution device table to the secondary decoding end, such that the secondary decoding end sends the request data signaling to other secondary decoding ends in the secondary distribution device table, and after the sending of the secondary distribution device table is completed, disconnecting a network connection with the secondary decoding end.

Abstract: Techniques for on-demand issuance of private keys for encrypted video transmission are described. A video processing service of a provider network receives a request from a computing device outside the provider network to begin video processing of video data generated by a video source device outside the provider network. The video processing service sends instructions to a video encoding device associated with the video source device to establish the connection for video transmission. The video processing service sends an encryption key to the video encoding device, and sends a decryption key to a video decryption engine. Subsequently, the video processing service receives video data from the video source device, via the video encoding device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for synchronizing audio and video content on multiple media devices are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving, at a media device, an indication of a media content item to be presented using the media device, wherein the media device includes an audio component for presenting audio content associated with the media content item and a video component for presenting video content associated with the media content item; determining that the media device is associated with a group of media devices for presenting the media content item, wherein the group of media devices includes the media device and at least one audio device that presents the audio content associated with the media content item; generating an audio timestamp that controls the presentation of the audio content on the group of media devices; generating a video timestamp that control the presentation of the video content on the group of media devices, wherein the video timestamp is based on the generated audio timestamp; and causing, at the media device, the video content associated with the media content item to be presented using the generated video timestamp and causing the audio content associated with the media content item to be simultaneously presented by the at least one audio device in the group of media devices by transmitting the audio timestamp to the at least one audio device in the group of media devices.

Abstract: Systems and methods of a media device are operable to perform a channel change operation. An exemplary embodiment receives a first data table from a data table server, wherein the first data table comprises first control information used to perform a channel change operation such that the media device reconfigures itself to change to a new channel from a currently presenting channel or to a new media content event from a currently presenting media content event. The exemplary embodiment later receives a second data table after initiation of the channel change operation, wherein the second data table is broadcast to the media device in one of a plurality of received broadcasting media content streams that has the new media content event, and wherein the second data table comprises second control information that corresponds to at least some of the first control information used to perform the channel change operation.

Abstract: An excellent display can be performed even when the frame rate changes dynamically at the reception side. When a switching portion at which a sequence of video streams to be transmitted is switched from a first sequence to a second sequence having a different frame rate from the first sequence is provided, display control information is inserted into at least encoded image data of a picture corresponding to the switching portion or a packet containing the encoded image data. A reception side performs display control of pictures using the display control information and implements an excellent display.

Abstract: A reception side can easily recognize that metadata is inserted into an audio stream. A container of a predetermined format including an audio stream into which metadata is inserted is transmitted. Identification information indicating that the metadata is inserted into the audio stream is inserted into a layer of the container. At the reception side, it is possible to easily recognize that the metadata is inserted into the audio stream and acquire the metadata reliably without waste by performing the process of extracting the metadata inserted into the audio stream based on the recognition.
