摘要: A microphone rubber apparatus mounted on an SMD microphone prepared on a printed circuit board to protect the SMD microphone from an external physical impact and the like in a portable communication device such as a portable terminal and a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). The microphone rubber apparatus includes a microphone holder portion formed to engage with and wrap up a microphone, a connection portion protruding to one side of the microphone holder portion and delivering a transmission sound to the microphone through an inside thereof, and at least one shock absorbing portion deformably formed around the connection portion to ease an impact caused by an external force. Thus, the shock absorbing portion having a wrinkled shape can be deformed no matter in which direction an impact is applied to the portable communication device, thereby easing the impact and preventing the microphone rubber from being detached from the microphone due to the external impact or during a distribution test.

摘要: A microphone adapter is attachable to a microphone including a microphone unit and a casing having a front sound terminal and a back sound terminal. The microphone adapter has a bottom having a hole through which the casing of the microphone extends and a cylindrical peripheral wall integrated with the bottom, having an open end opposite to the bottom, and covering the periphery of the back sound terminal. The cylindrical peripheral wall has an internal diameter larger than the external diameter of the casing of the microphone so as to define a space between the cylindrical peripheral wall and the external peripheral surface of the casing of the microphone extending through the hole, and extends from the bottom at least to a position of the front sound terminal in a sound collection axis direction.

摘要: Provided is a microphone capable of reducing a plane area seen from above, and further increasing a capacity of a back chamber of an acoustic sensor. An interposer 52 is mounted on a top surface of a circuit board 43, and an acoustic sensor 51 is mounted on the top surface thereof. A signal processing circuit 53 is accommodated in a space 70 provided in the interposer 52, and mounted on the circuit board 43. The acoustic sensor 51 is connected to the circuit board 43 through a wiring structure provided in the interposer 52. The acoustic sensor 51, the interposer 52 and the like are covered by a cover 42 put on the top surface of the circuit board 43. In the cover 42, a sound introduction hole 48 is opened in a position opposed to the front chamber of the acoustic sensor 51. The interposer 52 is formed with a ventilation notch 71 for acoustically communicating a space below a diaphragm 56 of the acoustic sensor 51 with a space inside the cover 42 and outside the interposer 52.

摘要: The present invention relates to an electret condenser microphone which comprises an exterior sidewall structure attached to a carrier. The exterior sidewall structure comprises a non-conductive base material carrying first and second electrical wiring patterns electrically connected to first and second electrical traces, respectively, of the carrier. A diaphragm holder, carrying a conductive microphone diaphragm is attached to the sidewall structure to establish electrical connection between a conductive microphone diaphragm and one of the first and second electrical wiring patterns of the sidewall structure. A conductive perforated backplate is arranged in spaced relationship to the conductive microphone diaphragm. The conductive perforated backplate is electrically connected to another one of the first and second wiring patterns of the sidewall structure. The sidewall structure may therefore be utilized to provide electrical connectivity from the conductive microphone diaphragm and from the backplate to a microphone preamplifier arranged on the carrier.

摘要: One embodiment of the present subject matter includes an apparatus, including: a microphone to convert sound into a signal; and an electrically adjustable shutter including conductive polymer, the shutter in acoustic communication with the microphone and configured to provide an adjustable acoustic resistance to the microphone. Variations include conductive traces adapted to apply an electric signal to the conductive polymer. In some embodiments a diaphragm in acoustic communication with the shutter configured to detect acoustic energy is included. The present subject matter also provides methods including, but not limited to a method for operating a microphone in a hearing assistance device, including measuring acoustic energy detected by a diaphragm in acoustic communication with a shutter via a conduit, and controllably adjusting an acoustic resistance of the shutter with an electric signal to change directionality of the microphone.

摘要: A condenser microphone includes a support pipe made of a metallic material; a microphone body supported on a front end side of the support pipe, and including a microphone unit and an output module part having a sound signal output circuit and a shield housing; a proximal housing having an output connector therein and attached to a rear end side of the support pipe; a connecting member arranged between the support pipe and the shield housing; and a metal cover arranged in the connecting member and having a peripheral portion contacting with the shield housing. One end of a shield cover of a microphone cable and a ground part of the sound signal output circuit are connected electrically to the metal cover so that a complete shield in which a contact portion between the metal cover and the shield housing is a base point of grounding is formed.
