Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a depth map sensor including a light source for transmitting light pulses into an image scene; an array of pixel circuits, where each pixel circuit has a photodetector and three asynchronous counters; and a control circuit to control each of a plurality of groups of the pixel circuits of the array to generate a histogram of detection events by accumulating events during eight distinct time intervals between consecutive light pulses transmitted by the light source, such that the histogram comprises eight or more histogram bins.

Abstract: In an embodiment a method for operating an integrated circuit includes sequentially requesting, by a processor of an integrated circuit, different instruction lines; determining, by a first comparator of the integrated circuit, while the processor processes a current instruction line supplied in response to a corresponding request, whether or not at least one of the instructions of the current instruction line is a branch instruction by comparing the at least one of the instructions to reference instructions; executing, by the processor, all instructions of the current instruction line before executing a next instruction line when the at least one instruction is a branch instruction from a program memory of the integrated circuit; and executing, by the processor, all instruction of the current instruction line before executing a next instruction line from first and second volatile memory of the integrated circuit when the at least one instruction is not a branch instruction.

Abstract: A method can be used for programming a group of memory cells of a non-volatile memory device in a programming window that has a duration longer than a programming duration of a memory cell. The programming window is subdivided into a number of time intervals. A programming profile that was determined by simulation while taking into account a reference criterion is retrieved. The programming profile includes, for each time interval, a maximum number of memory cells that can be triggered for programming within each time interval. The memory device is programmed in the programming window, interval-wise, using the programming profile.
